Shanmugha Arts Science Technology Research and Academy, Thanjavur
Hello
I think by considering your 12th exams you will not get seat in sastra university., actually my brother in two years back got 970/1000 he didn't get seat in that university, at that he said for the admission in the clg they need 980/1000 and full marks in groups.
I think they won't consider your jee mains marks.
All the best for your future., hope you will get admission in good institution.
Hi
As per your question Based on level of packages, freedom , enjoyment , sorts of students, NITs are the
simplest !! they can not be compared with sastra
But coming to research and prospectus sastra possesses all techs, professors and facilities as par with
NITs !! I remember NITT don’t even have a correct organised material lab . Lab facilities here in sastra is
basically excellent .
the school research outcomes in terms of citations is as equal as a school from nit trichy. apart from the
rationale that students (both in ug and pg) in NITs likes to do research whereas usually students here
does that for placements . and therefore the NUMBER of quality faculties are higher in NITs compared
to sastra. As far as i do know , from engineering quite 50% of the schools are IITs or NITs alumni's.
sastra got its alumni’s to top universities within the world ( MIT, Harvard, Caltech, UTAustin etc)!!!
Based on the extent of freedom , rules and fun factor sastra definitely cannot be compared with NITs.
It’s far higher in NITs.
PS:usually people coming with research interests are megere compared to NITs ! they typically come
here for placements.
Hope helpful.
Dear student,
Not all NITs are better than SASTRA University.
While comparing colleges, it makes sense to compare based on aspects which are really important, than the rules and regulations.
SASTRA has stricter rules with respect to attendance and hostels. That is only reasonable. Quality of academics and research is obviously better at NIT.
At NIT Andhra Pradesh you can get the tag of NITian.
It is the institute which has an average package of 5.87 LPA in the first out passed batch.
You can choose for yourself which one is better.
If any doubts feel free to use the comment section.
Hope this helps.
Bits Pilani is better with quality of educations, rankings and placements among those other colleges and when we arrange them in prority order ,the order is
1.BITS Pilani
2.NIT Mizoram
3.NIT Arunachal Pradesh
4.SASTRA University
Hope this helps
All the best
Hi, sastra is deemed university with lot of good courses it is a good clg but it has little bit high fees structure but there is fees reimbursement for obc students but medium placements only Also the college is in thanjavur all the best for your bright career.
As per your question NO.
Students applying for the SASTRA University are going to be asked to enter their marks of their board
exams and their JEE Main Score( this is often optional).
They will then be sorted into order into two streams.
Stream 1: this is often where both the Board and therefore the JEE scores are considered.
Stream 2: this is often where Board exam marks alone are considered.
The list are going to be later released and therefore the applicants are going to be given their respective
ranks.
Counseling goes on in accordance with the ranks.
Hello Aspirant,
Yes you should apply for Sastra University as due to Covid situation, cut-offs are unpredictable and it'll definitely vary from last year.
If you won't apply then you won't he having any chances of selection so I'll suggest you to apply and wait, also don't rely on single college, keep backup colleges as well.
You have decent chance of conversions so you might apply.
Hope this information would be helpful for you.
yes you can surely apply in the sastra university
HELLO LEARNER!!!
According to my opinion you should go for NIT because you will get much more facilities in the future because you have cleared jee mains to get into india's prestiogious institute.
