As far as placements are concerned, Electrical Engineering has a better scope when compared to Architecture in SIT, Tumkur.

You might get into the core companies of the Electrical Engineering Department or even enter the software field through Campus placements of the college. You could even take up Government exams specific to your field or even Engineering in general.

For Architecture, you could work under any Architectural firm or develop one on your own. You could even associate with Civil Engineering firms.

PICT : Career 360 Ratings AAA+. User Rating 3.5 out of 5.

One needs to take the MH-CET exam or JEE (Main) exam. Admissions are on the basis of rank in MHT-CET or JEE-Main. Total number of seats are 240.

MIT : Career 360 Rating AAAA . User rating 4.1 out of 5

Entrance Exam : TNEA and TANCET.

SIT, Tumkur : Career 360 Rating AAAA , User Rating 3.5 out of 5.

Entrance exam : KCET, COMEDK, Karnataka PGCET

So you can go for either MIT or SIT ,tumkur.

Hello Dear,

Placements are not that great in terms of the kind of package or the companies that visit the campus. But mass recruiters like TCS visit every year and that way most students get placed. Of course, some good companies like VMware, Microsoft etc.do visit and hire, but the number is less. CS and Info Science guys get better package compared to other branches (which is what happens in any college). So, if placements are the only concern prefer some Bangalore college. If you want  peaceful life and less expenses then prefer Tumkur.

Average package is 3.5lpa and highest package offered is 30lpa.
