sikkim
Hi
Your profile suggests that your home state is UP
Making prediction is difficult as cutoff depends upon various factors like :-
-----------) number of students/ candidates that appeared in the jee main exam,
-----------) number of available seats,
-----------) performance of different students in the examination,
-----------) the branch you want,
-----------) the category you belong etc.
-----------) your rank in jee main
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then
>>>>>>> With 73k obc rank,
You have low chance in any NITs even in lower ones like nit Agartala, sikkim etc in even lower branches.
For example,
Under other state quota , closing rank for some of the nits for which closing rank goes low are listed below along with their closing rank in the 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 :-
Nit nagaland :- Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology) :- 15340 obc rank
National Institute of Technology Agartala :- Production Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology :- 15659 obc rank
National Institute of Technology, Surat:-Chemistry (5 Years, Integrated Master of Science):-16453 obc rank
You can verify the above at
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
So, to get a seat in NIT you should get at least around 15000 - 16000 OBC rank
Some of the government engineering colleges in which you hold a chance on the basis of past year closing rank are listed below along with the link for their previous year cutoff :-

Hi,
As per the exam you tagged, that is All India Sainik School Examination, unfortunately there are no centres provided for the entrance exam to be held in Sikkim. The state-wise division of the centres are provided by the authorities of the conducting body but Sikkim is not included.
Hope this helps.
You must qualify for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Biotechnology individually and should obtain an aggregate of 50% for general category.
As comparing previous years cutoff is 134 for 2019.The cutoff changes each year according to certain factors.

Hello aspirant,
Great to knew that according to previous cut-offs you have various options to choose from.
As your 1st priority is ECE I would discuss regarding this branch only on your mentioned NIT's.
As you may know, NIT Nagaland, Sikkim, Mizoram & Meghalaya were comparatively newly established, I would rate these NITs a bit lower than the other two NITs due to their lack of infrastructure and established alumni network. They are in their infant stages only, thus I would take them out of the discussion.
Now comes the other two NITs Agartala and Srinagar, while Srinagar was earlier an RIT and thus always was a premier institute of India. Agartala is also a fairly old institute established in the 50s and 60s. They have a very established campus and alumni network. NIT Agartala has many new investments in infrastructures.
I would suggest you to choose any of them according to your residence as if you were in East side you can choose NIT AGARTALA or if you belongs to Northern side choose NIT SRINAGAR.
To know your other chances through JOSSA & State level Government & private colleges, You can use the JEE Main College Predictor tool given below.
Hope it helps you..
Best of luck..

Hello Nandini,
In compare with these NITs you mentioned, DTU is better option for BTech in Electrical Engineering.
DTU is much better options because of their placement stats, location and college life.
In DTU,120 companies took part in the hiring process.
Hope this helps
Saying it would be difficult because NIT Sikkim is a medium level of NIT but than too the rank is quite low and definitely you can face the difficulties for getting admission but you can try for sure in that college and also in different colleges as well.
Thank you..
