You can join ISRO for research after completing the graduation with CSE.

You have to secured good rank in GATE because it is compulsory for ISRO.

To become a software engineer , you should have a bachelor's degree in engineering , computer science engineering preferably . You must also have a good grip over the programming commands and tools. A masters' degree may also be required.
