We cannot term any particular language as the Best. But given its usage, by far French takes the top position between French and Spanish. French is spoken in 29 countries while Spanish is spoken in 20 countries. The truth is English owes half of its vocabulary to French. French being one of the top spoken Languages in the world gives an access to no.of opportunities across the world. So if you are looking to make a career abroad, French might come handy.
Hello Aspirant,
There are very high level government jobs after completing BA English(Hons.) and some of them are enlisted below :-
If we talk about their pay scale then it varies according to the post which will be designated to you.
For Spanish there is no scope in government jobs but yes you can go for private sector where you can do work as a Customer Care officer, Telecalling, Translator and so on.
I hope this information cleared your doubts.
Good Luck!!
Dear Anushka ,
Some of Jobs we are discussed as per your interest areas

Translators and interpreters may be employed by the government to work in consulates, embassies or courts. They need to be fluent in at least two languages, and they need to be able to read in both. Interpreters and translators are called upon to travel to other nations, or may be needed to travel with their clients. A bachelor's degree is required in this career, as well as some job-specific training.
Emergency management director
Emergency management directors take charge during community disasters. These professionals help communities with emergency training. They work to help leaders with preparedness and coordinate services, evacuations, food, water, and shelter. These professionals may be called upon to travel to disaster sites locally or nationally. They typically hold bachelor's degrees in emergency management or public safety.
Apart from that there are lots of jobs available in government sectors but that jobs are might not be as per your specific like traveling and blogging .
