Shortlists – Interviews
Applicants shortlisted in the first phase are called for an early interview. The shortlist is based on their profile considering the following factors:
• Consistency of academic record
• Relevance of work experience for the specialisation chosen
• Versatility and achievements Meeting the minimum eligibility cutoff in the entrance exam is mandatory in case of a profile based shortlist to appear for the interview.
Selection List
The selection list is based on a composite score, which takes into account the applicant’s profile, academic record, entrance test scores (CAT/ GMAT), relevance of work experience (if any) and performance in the two rounds of group interviews.

Yes there are chances of you getting at SP jain with 87 percentile, if you are shortlisted in the portfolio based phase of selecting. Ok let us understand how it works.
SP JAIN has two ways of selecting candidates first is portfolio based, that if you has good academics and performed exceptional well in some activities and your performance at GDPI. And if you make through the list than you just need more than or equivalent to 85% percentile in XAT or CAT to remain eligible.
Second way of selecting is portfolio + entrance exam. The safe score in that case for CAT is 95% + and through GMAT the safe score is around 650-680..

If you have filled the form for SPJIMR and not paid the fee you will not be allowed to sit in the entrance exam or participate in the admission counselling process. It is advised that you pay the required charges before the announced due date otherwise you will have to pay late fee.

Spjimr has two different hostels , one for girls and other for boys. Both the hostels are well - furnished. All the basic requirements like television, water coolers, coffee vending are there in both the hostels. Both the hostels are within the campus. The girls hostel provide them the safety and comfort to study . Along with this,the students have access to wifi, Cafeteria, and all the necessary sports facilities. There is a library also in this campus.

A number of companies including Microsoft, Amazon, startups, and many public and private sector come here for hiring. As per the records, the average salary offered in 2020-2021 was Rs. 26.06 LPA and highest was Rs. 46.65 LPA .
In P.G.D.M. programme in 2019-2020, almost 131 companies participated in placement drive . Along with this , there were 75 new recruiters. Many of the students were given Pre- placement offer (PPO).
