Hi priyanksha agarwal,
The interview process at SPJIMR consists of three steps.
The interviews for SPJIMR are held in two phases:
Phase-1 ( usually held in January) is only for candidates with profile-based calls.
Phase-2 ( usually held in February ) is for both categories of candidates, i.e. those with profile-based calls who didn’t attend in Phase-1 and those with score-based calls.
The entire process is well organised and conducted very smoothly,
Post document-verification, for the first leg of the process, a total of 30 minutes will be allotted for completion of both Written Ability Test (WAT) and psychometric test. The psychometric test consisted of a bunch of about 20 questions in two sections. You are required to mark your response on the given sheet (5 options ranging from least appropriate to most appropriate - options remaining the same for each question) and explain your responses for any 6 of those questions (3 from each section) in the space provided. For the psychometric test, be quick in marking your answers as you also need to finish your WAT in time. Limit your explanations to the space/box provided. Keep them concise, and keep in mind that questions could and would be asked from this.
The WAT topic could be anything and you have to write on it in about 300 words.
After the WAT , you have to wait for the coordinators to form groups of students (about 5-6 candidates per group) for the first group interview (GI-1), which will be an elimination round. GI-1 is mostly about your profile - expect HR questions apart from questions on your academics, work experience and preferred specialization.
All the best
Hi Pradeep,
SP JAIN Global and SPJIMR are two different colleges. If someone wishes to study MBA, it is must to understand the diligence of the institute. The differences arises is on SP JAIN GLOBAL and SPJIMR. Fees structure varies every year where SP Jain is more expensive with less reputation. Also, SPJIMR has a comparitably less fees structure and more reputation. It is better to study in the institution that has better facilities and reputation due to its achievement.
In SPJIMR, a few number of students got a chance of study due to its high competitive examination based selections, academic achievements, past work experience and overall profiles.
Since, SPJIMR has got better alumni network so it is better to receive best possible outputs and ideas from them.
In fact, u will be able to grab better opportunities in SPJIMR.
Hope this helps. Thanks:)
