I have got 95.25% in best four subject in commerce .....so will I get admission in hindu ,hansraj and SRCC for bcom hons....I belongs to EWS category

ritikaprasad.work 6th Sep, 2020

Hey!

First of all, congratulations for such an amazing result. To answer your question, chances are very slim for admission in hindu, hansraj or SRCC for B.com. I would suggest you look into other DU colleges which are great as well like Motilal Nehru College, Gargi College and many others.

Hi,

According to your marks there is a change that you get a good college in DU but I didn't say that you get hindu college.

Pervious year cutoff is approx 95-97 %.

For previous year cutoff kindly go through this link:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/university.careers360.com/articles/du-cutoff/amp

For percentage deduction it is true if you choose different branch then there is some percentage deduction.

I hope it helps you.

Happy learning!!

Can i get admission at srcc with 97% in general category??

Vineeth Wilson 24th Aug, 2020

Hai Nandini,

Now it depends on your percentage of best four subjects in which English is compulsory. Also another thing is what was your 5th subject that you chose in 12th as the cutoff changes as per the subject you choose, like if you had mathematics as your optional subject then the cutoff will be lower as compared to the cutoff for the other subjects like PE, CS etc. But scoring an overall 97% is pretty good and I am sure your best of four would also be good ( if this is not your best four % already). So I think you shouldn't have a problem in getting admission, rest would depend on your luck. All the best

Can i include my tamil marks for the cutoff calculation for SRCC??

Prabhav Sharma 25th Aug, 2020

Hello,

Delhi University offers admission to various UG courses on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam. The merit is determined on the basis of marks obtained in Best of Four subjects which includes:

  • One language
  • One subject in which admission is sought, and
  • Two elective courses.

Therefore, you can include your Tamil marks in the language subject.

For detailed admission criteria, you can check SRCC's official website at this link: https://www.srcc.edu/academics/admissions/admission-criteria-rules

Hope this helps! All the best!

how much percentage required for getting admission in srcc in ews category for b com hons

Anurag Khanna 16th Aug, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

SRCC is one of the top notch colleges of Delhi University and hence there is more competition and fight for it. Therefore cut-off score for this college also goes quite high. As you are asking for B.Com (Hons.) and you belongs to Gen-EWS category so your percentage should be around 93.5-98%, then you will have fair chances of getting the college in your required course.

Note that the above prediction is based on previous years' cut-off trend, as cut-off for this year has not been released and cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

For more details refer to the link given below :-

Shri ram College of commerce is one of the best college choice among commerce aspirants. Being so much in demand it's cut-off goes soaring high ever year. Cut-off 2020 hasn't been released yet. But we can have an idea through previous year cut-off list.

For 2019 b.com hons cut-off for general category was :- 98.50%
It hasn't come below 97% for b.com hons since 2014 so minimum 97% will be required to get admission into B.com hons in SRCC.

I got 89.7 marks in top four subjects did I got admission in B.COM. SRCC DELHI in general category..

Mimansa 2nd Aug, 2020
Greetings aspirant!

Congratulations on scoring such a good percentage in 12th. As per your question you wish to pursue B.com from shri ram College of commerce which is a reputed and famous college for commerce students in north campus. Usually it's cut-off get insanely high.

Cut-off for SrCC b.com in general category during previous year was:-

2019- 98.5
2018-97.75
2017-97.75
2016- 98

As you can see SrCC cutoffs are soaring high and they usually don't come down from 97% for general category, also waiting for 3rd 4th list is also not beneficial because, seats for general category usually gets filled by that time.

But no need to worry you can still get a good college in the percentage you have scored.

Hope you find it helpful. Thankyou!
