Hope it helped to clear your delimma.
Hello RIO,
Both the colleges are equally good .
Here are some PROS of KCT :
Placements are very good in the colleges last year almost 90% of the students got placed in many companies and 250 companies visited in the college.
Many startup companies visit the colleges and offer good salary packages.
The campus architechture is very good and is lush green and hostel facility is very good.
PROS OF KCET :
College gives their 200% to get their students placed . Companies like Amazon, hyundai wipro and infosys visit the college. so you have alot of oppurtunity to get into the good company and you can easily grab 10-12 lacs package.
The campus infrastructure is beautiful and well equipped.
The onl setbacks are that fees is quite high and middle class family students feel the peer pressure as rich kids often flaunt their father's wealth - as said by the students reviews.
You might also fall in a wrong circle of drinking, smoking etc. So you better keep these things in mind if you are opting for KCET.
Hello applicant,
Well all the colleges having hostels allow the hostelers for outing, of coarse they follow a rule of giving 3/4 outings per month,as per the rule is made.Every college follow it's own rules.
If you are asking for half day outings yes, also these are given to students for genuine reasons.
You can ask somebody who is there in the college he/she will have the clear idea about the protocol.
Hope it helps.
Dear aspirant
Faculty : All faculty members are highly knowledgeable. They are friendly, and they clear all the doubts of students. Most of the faculty members have completed their PhDs. So they share their experiences with us. All the faculty members teach their subjects in a good manner. Smart boards are very helpful as they can show example videos to students. So even if you need to learn something from basic you may freely go and ask them for this. There are totally 390 faculty members in college.
Thanks.
Hello Afreen,
Yes, there is a gym present for all the students to train. However, it is not present in the hostel itself but it is inside the campus. All the gym facilities are present with trainer.

If you are contemplating an MBA then out of the two options Sona School of Management, Salem will be a better one. Since it's solely a Management college so they'll focus more on their students. Usually in engineering colleges the focus is more on Engineering students and less on other students pursuing other courses.
Moreover Sona School of Management has a decent academic program with opportunities for live projects and international study tours.
So there will an immense opportunity for you there.
All the very best
