         Getting a seat in SSN is always a tough task and the cut off always range more than 194 .But due to low cut off marks this year I hope you may have a chance of entering through counseling. But this is not a sure one. Even if you get a seat tell cost will be definitely high than you expect. So wait for the rank list and think about the college.

1. To Download Data Sheet Click Here and save the PDF copy of the Data Sheet to your computer.
2. The Applicant has to take a print of the downloaded data sheet and fill in all the particulars in the data sheet form neatly and legibly.
3. Any incomplete or illegible data sheet forms will be rejected.
4. Applicants have to attach all relevant documents as mentioned in the Data Sheet along with a DD for Rs. 950/- in favour of "SSN College of Engineering" payable at Chennai.
5. The brochure and CD will be couriered to the address provided in the Data Sheet
6. Submission of the data sheet and the purchase of the brochure and CD in no way guarantee admission or call for counselling. Call for counselling depends totally on merit and the marks scored by the candidate in the qualifying examination.

There are total 900 seats in SSN College, Out of the total seats 65% (590) are filled up through single window TNEA counselling. The remaining 310 seats of the management quota are also offered through merit.

SSN offers a merit-based selection even for their management seats which is really rare to find these days. So students from Andhra Pradesh can fill up the management applications once you've received your STD.12 results.

I suppose forms will be issued for students having more than 85% marks. Once you submit the marks, you'll be called for the test and interview if you are shortlisted.

The test is a basic aptitude test and this will be followed by the personal interview. All this will take place at the campus itself. The initial shortlisting will be based on your cut off marks and for CBSE students 5 marks will be added to their current cut off.

You will hear from them if you are selected maybe within a month's time.

Yes, some colleges, better to say almost all Engineering colleges have a system of Lateral entry. The Students who have done diploma and want to do BTech, will have to take admission through Lateral Entry where you directly start studying from the Second year of BTech.

Firstly you need to get an application from SSN college of engineering or from SSN office which is in mylapore in order to apply through management quota.Minimum cut off of required is 186+  to apply through management quota. After processing your application you would be called to the college to attend an exam and interview. After attending your exam and interview your result will be announced in 2 weeks.
