Yes, some colleges, better to say almost all Engineering colleges have a system of Lateral entry. The Students who have done diploma and want to do BTech, will have to take admission through Lateral Entry where you directly start studying from the Second year of BTech.

Firstly you need to get an application from SSN college of engineering or from SSN office which is in mylapore in order to apply through management quota.Minimum cut off of required is 186+  to apply through management quota. After processing your application you would be called to the college
