Thanks,
Hello,
cutoff marks required for SSN is based on your community. and different from course to course if you belong to OC, a cutoff 195 would easily fetch you a seat. It varies for other categories in a decreasing manner. If you belong to ST or SCA (SCA is different from SC), a cutoff of 150 is enough. This is as far as TNEA is concerned.
For management quota, the cutoff required will be 5–6 points low than DOTE but you have to give an aptitude test and an interview to fetch a seat.
hope this helps you !
all the best !

Hello Applicant,
I was a Bio - Maths student myself and then I got into Computer Science Engineering which is quite similar to IT so I think I am rightly experienced to answer your question.
Is it advisable? Well, no, not really. According to me, it'd be easier for you to handle the pressure in college if you get admitted to a course which is relevant with your 10 - 12th class subjects which in your case is biology.
The only time when you should consider fetting admitted to a different course is when you get a really good college or you have no other options. I went for CSE because I got a good rank in WBJEE.
To be honest, in the beginning, it was really difficult for me to be able to grasp the computer language and it took me more than a year to get familiar with them. But after that, I never faced a problem again and now I personally enjoy coding. So, if you're up for that challenge then surely you can go for IT.
Good luck dear!

Hello Satish Prasad V T
In professional colleges, there is no coach for the team unless there is a course regarding the sport in the college, however, the students have clubs who organize and conduct different activities including sports.
