When it comes to preferring Deemed Universities it is a very tricky thing because almost every university tries to be better and maintain their standards. Here both VIT and SRM are very good universities and ranked at top. But slight difference gives preference to VIT in my opinion.

No mcet exam is for its own college for these colleges you have to fill their respective for forms for bits pilani there is bitsat , for vit there is bites and for arm they do it through SRM jee.

SRM University,Chennai offers non-entrance based UG programs such as BA,Bsc,B.com and BBA under faculty of science and humanities.To get admission in SRM University for BBA,candidate have to complete 10+2 with any stream with 50% aggregate marks.As its admission will be non-entrance based,you will get admission based on qualifying
