Both VIT and SRM has proved themselves as well established engineering institutes in India. Though, VIT gained recognition bit more than SRM but still the potential in both the colleges are same. Both are good and the placement scenario is average like any new IIT or average NIT.

Hey, 

The cut off for the previous years are around 10,000 to secure a CSE seat in main campus. The expected marks which you need to score for the desired rank is in the range of 170-199.

              It is really easy to clear SRMJEEE as they has thier 3 campuses. But I would say always do for main campus Kuttakulathur. Ramapuram & Vadapalani is also good, but main campus is campus you know. & also placement process is aslo centralised. If you are getting CSE
