Admission to SRM university is done on the basis of ranks of candidate in the entyrance exam. You will have to qualify the entrance exam and meet the cutoff requirements for admission.

According to the previous year SRMJEEE 2016 cutoff, 65000 was the closing rank for Computer Science Engineering

Hi Venkateswarlu.You have to AEEE,VITEEE,SRMJEEE entrance exams to get seat in these private institutes.Otherwise you should be  a state or district  topper in 12 board exam to get a free seat in VIT.

Otherwise if you donot write these exams you have to pay donation to get seat there.

According to the eligibility criteria, candidates are required to have minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.
