SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai
Yes, 104 is considered as good score to get the top branches in SRM. According to your score your rank should be around 9-10K and it is the safest rank to get the seat in CSE or IT like branches.
The minimum marks required to get the CSE seat is around 100 or the rank of 10K and you have the score of 104 so definitely you will get your preferred branch in your preferred campus.
Good Luck :)
Hi Aspirant!
For the enrollment process you have to come to the campus on the given date. I suggest you to come early since there are a lot of students turning up around 11:00.
You then have to take all the documents required, here is the list- Provisional Allotment Order (issued at the time of Counseling), Tution / Book / CDC Fee Paid Receipt(s), SRM rank card, 10th-12th marksheet, migration certiificate, transfer certificate , character certificate, valid ID proof (carry some photocopies as well), extra passport size pictures and caste certificate (if any).
These all documents will get submitted with the authority and will be returned to you when your degree is completed.
Once the process is done, they will issue your id card for college.
Thankyou!
Dear Student,
SRM KTR is way better that Amrita bangalore in every expect like placement, infrastructure, faculty, environment etc. And yes if you are getting Coimbatore campus of Amrita then choose Amrita otherwise SRM is best, not only for the CSE but also in every branch. There (SRM) faculty is more experienced and most of then are phd scholars.
In terms of placement the average package of SRM KTR is around 7 LPA and highest package is around 35 LPA, talking about about the Amrita Bangalore it has the average package of around 6 LPA and highest is around 52 LPA. Remember that in Amrita Bangalore or any other campus of Amrita don't have the separate campus drive, they conduct it in a combined way.
Hi Sayantan,
Normally you do not need to provide the migration certificate during online enrollment. Its only during slot selection, that your actual enrolment will happen and you need to provide all the necessary documents.
Now, this time due to the pandemic, there might be some changes, but rest assured, if you cannot provide them with any of the required documents for genuine reasons, they'll give you some extensions whereby you can submit those documents.
Hope this was helpful. All the best for your new journey.
Hi aspirant,
Both the institutes mentioned by you are decent private colleges in terms of placements and campus experience. However, with regards to expenditure, i.e. tuition fees and other expenses, they can be a bit expensive.
Under total expense comes several factors including hostel facilities which differ based on room requirements (eg, no of sharing, AC/Non-AC, etc.). So I will answer your question based on the tuition fees alone.
Now, comparing SRM and MIT, for EEE, here are the tuition fees.
For more information on the expenses you can check out the following by clicking on them:

Hope this was helpful.
When you have to compare two colleges and have to arrive at a conclusion then you have to choose some of the parameters. This parameters can be a distinct number of events but to conclude this answer I am choosing some of the most important parameters like:
Now if you consider the first parameter, then both of the colleges have the same kind of infrastructure. Infrastructurally both are very good. The curriculum in SRM is better than MIT. You will get more industrially appropriate curriculum at SRM compared to MIT. The faculties in SRM are more experienced in there fields as well as they are very helpful as per the reviews. Now the placements are better than that of MIT in terms of high package as well as the median packages.
So if you wish to go in any of the two then I would recommend you to go for SRM over MIT.
