CSE and ME are entirely different with CSE comprises scientific and engineering aspects of computing and designing automated machine systems and intelligent bots while in mechanical engineering will teach you to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. Now if doesn't matters and college is the only aspect you should go with Vit, AP considering both are not the main campus of their respective franchises. Vellore institute of technology has a higher ranking, better faculties and reputation in the educational world. The total course duration is 4 years so the total fees will cost you around 10lakhs . Around 15-20k you will have to give as caution money which is refundable at the time of course completiion

Here details regarding SRM registration and phase wise results-

The last date of application for SRM JEE Rounds was till 22nd July 2021 till 11 p.m. Moreover, the slot booking dates for the phase 2 to registration was in between 23rd to 26th July 2021. Fish examination was held in between 29th June to 1st July and the results were declared by 5th July 2021.

Just wait for the official notice from the campus. Sometimes, due to technical glitch there are some issues regarding bank statements written on any application or website prevails. So, you can contact the campus administrative staff about this glitch because counseling fee has to be paid. There are chances of counseling fee Rs 0/- when you have applied under some quota.

My advice to you will be to just wait for the official notice before paying whole fee.

Personally I feel NIT Goa is better than SRM or 95% of all private engineering colleges infinitely in all aspects. The opportunities you get there, the peers, the brand name and most importantly, the life that you will experience there will be far better than SRM by some distance.

NIT Goa is obviously better than SRM in terms of the campus culture, the extra-curricular activities, the quality of peer competition, the brand name, the location( it's Goa!), the opportunities you will get after graduation.

The Good Rank in SRM is only defined on the basis of the total number of students appeared in the entrance exam.Usually more than 50,000 students appear for this exam every year.250 marks obtained in SRM means rank range between 2001-5000 which is quite good.
