What should I choose CSE with specialization in A.I and M.L in VIT chennai or CSE with specialization in IT in SRM KTR??

puneetpotter 12th Jul, 2021

Hello there!

Though both the colleges SRM and VIT are considered similar in correspondence to the percentage of students placed , the highest package at SRM 2021 was 35 LPA  whereas the same at VIT 2021 was 44 LPA by Microsoft to 8 students.  And if you compare the tution fee of both the colleges from there official websites. Tution fees of VIT per year is INR 1,95,000 and that of SRM is INR 3,50,000 (without any scholarships).

Top recruiters at SRM were Microsoft, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, I nfosys, EY, HUL, IFB, Titan, CEAT,etc

Top recruiters at VIT were Microsoft, Udaan, Cisco, Amazon, etc.

To choose the specialisation subjects you

should think of the course that is going to be in much demand in future. According to present scenario both AI and Machine learning are highly preferred. In your situation it would be clever to go for CSE with specialization in AI or ML according to your choice in VIT Chennai or if you can get the main campus vellore, that's a plus point. Choosing CSE at VIT is better because of the fee and there is pretty less crowd in comparison to SRM. So, that's in your favour as you will get less competition to tackle with. It was a suggestion, yet the final decision is yours.

Good luck with your future!

SRM Amaravati or PvP vr Siddhartha colleges Which is good

Uttara 12th Jul, 2021

Looking at the infrastructure and the overall facilities/placement SRM is a very well known and popular college. It is a private college but the fees of SRM can be on the higher side as compared to both the other colleges. Prasad V. Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology also has a good big campus and infrastructure and facilities. You can read the student reviews of the colleges in the below link:-

Hello Aspirant

With reference to your query , I would like to inform you that persuing single degree than integrated course is better option if you are doing it from priavte college. Integrated courses are of 5 years with a condition that you will get your btech if and only if you complete your mtech ,its like you are indulginf yourself in a bond whereas in btech you can look for options like jobs , top notch-college for masters, etc

Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future

how is SRM AP campus full review

Aditi More 12th Jul, 2021

Hey,

The SRM AP Campus has well-equipped laboratories, that are helpful for practical knowledge. The faculty are few of the best professionals, with international exposure and a keen interest in research and development. The campus encourages innovating thinking and supports star-up ideas, curriculum is designed in a way that encourages research and out of the box thinking. SRM-AP not only focuses on Academics, but it focuses on overall development, that’s why they have various clubs and groups to ignite the creative and innovative side in all of the students.

The infrastructure is so good and the environment is safe too. They have doctor, clinic and an ambulance available 24×7 in need of any emergency. There is no water problem too on the campus. It also has a Student Council that helps students to interact with teachers and maintain a good relation.

I hope this helps

In srm ramapuram, i can sit in the placements only if i get above 60% in cbse board

ayanmukherjee045 12th Jul, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you will be allowed to sit in placements in Ramapuram campus only if your percentage in 12th is 60%, so let me tell you that in SRM entrance examination the minimum criteria usually stays above 50% in every college.

But I don't think this kind of criteria exists in the campus but yes it is possible that some of the companies are demanding this criteria.

But dont worry there are many companies which dont see all these criterias and will majorly look into your skills.

VIT AP AND SRM AP WHICH COLLEGE CAN I JOIN IN CSE

Aditi More 11th Jul, 2021

Hey,

It’s always works with VIT instead of SRM.

There are different reasons and opinions for that too. Well,it mostly depends on the course you are looking at. But in a overall concern, VIT has a smart infastructure, excellent environment and an internationally recognized university.

VIT AP is better in education but with infrastructure SRM AP is good. Good sports facility in both.

vit,MIT,SRM,amritha which clg is best and they highest package of 2020

Aman Mishra 11th Jul, 2021

Hello,

All the colleges which you have mentioned are considered as top private institution in India and comparing them is not easy as every college is best in respective ways. The students mostly gets divided in this colleges and try their level best to get in any of this colleges mentioned above. Now in terms of ranking Amrita is little ahead as it has been given now the global ranking compare to other colleges but ya VIT, SRM and MIT are less strict and more student friendly compare to Amrita University. Now talking about Placement records than i can say that all stands together because all this institution has 90+ percent of placement records which says in itself the popularity of this colleges hence seeing all this factors now it completely depends on you that which college will be best fir you and the field which you are willing to take.

Thank you..

is ECCE FROM VIT CHENNAI OR CSE FROM SRM KTR BETTER

Aditi More 11th Jul, 2021

Hey,

You should 1st decide what you want to study.

You can't compare between to college with two different branch.select the branch in which you have more interest

Both the college are good and frankly it won't matter in which you study as all the companies which come for campus placement are almost same for both the college.

But since you are confused, I would suggest that go for VIT as the faculty is quite good an experienced and placements are quite good too.

Ask got 4196 rank in srm will i get core cse in arn ktr or shall i go for iot which has less demand than core cse . which one will have 100percent chance to get seat in srm ktr please help me

Rohit K Bhat 11th Jul, 2021

Greetings dear aspirant

Firstly, congrats on successful completion of your SRMJEEE Examination. The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. Getting a CSE seat is getting highly tough these days as the demand is very much. But, with a rank around 4100, you can very easily secure a CSE or CSE with any specialization in SRM KTR Campus as the closing rank was around 9,500 - 10,500 for CSE core branch in SRMJEEE 2016. So, just apply to their counselling process and secure a seat easily.

You can have a look at the detailed glance about everything related to SRM previous year cut-off trends from the above link.

Hope I've cleared all your doubts!!

All the best for your future endeavours
