SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai
Greetings of the day dear aspirant,
Comparing two different colleges having almost the same growth is a bit difficult. So, as far as I know, that the infrastructure and campus of SRM are far better than that of VIT CHENNAI and accommodation is better for SRM because it is there in the main city. The VIT is new so the building and classrooms are better.
But the main concern is related to academics and placements so, VIT CHENNAI is better in terms of academics, class timings and placements.
At last, it depends upon you. So, choose well.
Feel free to ask any query.
Thank you and all the best:)
Hello dear aspirant
Firstly, congrats on successful completion of your SRMJEEE Examination. The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. Getting a CSE seat is getting highly tough these days as the demand is very much. With a rank around 16,000, you can secure a IT, ECE or any other seat except CSE in their main campus i.e. KTR as the closing rank was 23,000 for IT branch, ECE branch closing rank was 27,000. So, just apply to their counselling process and secure a seat easily.

Greetings dear aspirant
Firstly, congrats on successful completion of your SRMJEEE Examination. The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. With a rank around 5000, you can very easily secure a ECE seat in SRM KTR Campus as the closing rank was around 26,000 for ECE branch in SRMJEEE previous few years. So, just apply to their counselling process and secure a seat easily.

Hello,
It is quite difficult to predict because the seat allotment depends on the vacancy of the seat, preferences of campus/branch, rank secured by the candidate and total number of candidates applied for counselling. The cut off rank changes every year based on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. The expected cut off rank for admission to Computer Science Engineering in SRM Institute of Science and Technology is in between 9500-10500. Considering the cut off you have slim chances of getting seat in CSE but as said the cut off may vary this year. Hello Aspirant,
The expected cutoff to get the SRMJEE CSE branch in main campus is about 9500-10500. With this rank there are very less chances of you getting admission in the SRM main campus for CSE course because usually the cutoff is really very high for this course.
For more information you can visit in the link provided below
All the best!
Dear student,
The minimum requirement to get a CSE seat in SRM is to clear the mark range of 100+ or you are coming under the rank of 10K then also you can get CSE here.
As your rank is 10190 so their is chance that you can get CSE here but not at the surety. IT is still the option you can take and you can get IT very easily as students who comes under 20K are eligible to take CSE. But at this time everything is not clear so it will be more better if you take part in counselling and try hard to get CSE.
Best Of Luck!!!
Considering the given rank you may have chances of getting seat in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering and Biomedical Engineering in SRM Institute of Technology. This is based on the expected cut off rank for this year. The cut off is determined based on factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

Hi Aspirant!
Based on the previous years records, you have chances to get Information technology in Chennai campus, CSE in Ramapuram campus, CSE in Vadapalani campus, CSE in Ghaziabad campus and CSE in Sonepat campus. But yuou have quite low chances to get CSE in main campus.
Also, after main campus Amaravati campus is considered best among others in the terms of infrastructure and facilities. You can check out the cuoffs here:
Thankyou!
Hi Harsh!
With the help of previous years cutoff records for different campuses of SRM, I can give you a rough idea about the branches you can get with the rank 9226.
The branches which you can get are: CSE in Chennai Campus, CSE in ramapuram campus, basically you might get CSE in almost all the campus as per the previosu years records.
