For academics,, sathyabama is much better than SRM. Because here everything is proper planned and well structured. This college is the best in sports in Chennai among other colleges. Mess and food facility is also best in Tamilnadu among all private colleges. It's very cheap and healthy. For non-veg people, every day they serve chicken. So it's best for nonveg. And the best thing is veg and non-veg canteens are different. And along with these ultimately Placements are also very good.

I would recommend Satyabhama University over SRM.

SRM institute of science and technology is ranked at 29 position in NIRF rankings by our government among the all engineering colleges of India in 2020 and The national institutional framework rankings NIRF for this institution was 36 in the year 2019 among all Engineering colleges of India.

It's ranked on 19th for pharmacy and overall ranking is 52.

SRM University Ramapuram Campus Chennai is an excellent university with a great infrastructure. It is also known for its placements. The highest package offered can go upto 40 lacs offered mostly to Computer Science students.

Also, this year as SRMJEEE stands cancelled, admission will be given on the basis of 10+2/ SAT/JEE equivalent score.

If you mention the name of the college and your state, it will be easier to help. But your mark seems less to get you a seat in medical colleges. If you come under Sc or St category, this mark will be ok. Otherwise you can get seats in private colleges easily.
