Yes, It is a better option to study engineering at the SRM University, Ramapuram Campus. This is the second most preferred campus after the Chennai campus. The tution fee at the Ramapuram campus is around 1,60,000/- per year. The faculty are best and experienced . The labs are well equipped with the fully funcitonal equipment. The hostel facility is not that good when compared to the rest of the campuses. Mostly the hostel fee would be around 90,000 to 1 lakh per year. The top companies that visit this university are:Amazon,Deloitte, E&Y, HDFC, ICICI, HSBC, TCS, Wipro, etc. The highest pay package is 18 lakhs per annum. SRM University, Chennai campus doesn’t accepts the admission based on the only IPE marks. You need to write SRMJEEE to get Admission. You can even get admission through your JEE mains rank, else you can go through management quota to get admission. Yes, The scholarship is provided to students based on IPE marks. If you are a district or State topper of Tamil nadu then you’ll get 100% fee scholarship. But if you get 90% equal or above then you’ll get scholarship but is decided by the management committee at the time of admission.
