State Bank of India Probationary Officer Examination
Hello Aspirant,
As you are preparing for SBI PO you should know that in the past 3-4 years banks have recruited thousands of executives and so the RBI have imposed some guidelines and restrictions so the no of vacancies will definitely go down.
But vacancies will be released.
The competition will be tougher than ever as the success ratio will be decreased due to fewer vacancies and more applicants there will be brutal competition for each seat.
Best of luck.
I hope it helps you.
Hello Sri,
There are certain levels which you need to clear before you get selected as an SBI Probationary Officer:-
1)First, you need to attempt the SBI PO Prelims exams, if you clear the cutoff you are selected for taking SBI PO Mains examination.
2)In SBI PO Mains examination there are four sections Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis and Interpretation, General/ Economy and Banking Awareness and English Language each consisting of 50 marks respectively and also there is a separate Descriptive paper which consists of 50 marks. First, you need to clear cutoff of the objective paper, if and only if you clear the objective paper cutoff your descriptive paper will be evaluated. After this, an overall cutoff consisting of marks of both objective and descriptive paper will be out, if you clear this cutoff then you would be called for the interview round.
3)In the interview round you would be given a score out of 50. After this, a consolidated merit list will be prepared including all your marks. If you clear this cutoff, then you would be offered the post of SBI PO.

Dear aspirant
You need noy to worry for the rough work. They'll provide you the rough sheets to do the rough. Now they have started providing you with the laminated sheets so you may buy them from the shops to get used to them which will help you there in exam. Even if the computer program stops working you need not to worry there as well. You may take help of the invigilators there and ask them to change your PC.
Feel free to ask any other query in the comment section below.
Hi Akshat,
I have been in your shoes and know what it feels like.
Your parents wants to secure your future and government jobs are a way to do that.
MBA revolves around your managerial skills and give you a managerial job after your graduation.
Buit before that, you have to bag a seat at one of the top colleges. Pursuing MBA in an ordinary B school or a low rtier one will be a loss of your resources, time and future as well.
I would suggest you to gear up and study for CAT, CMAT, SNAP. That way you will be fluent in aptitude which is also useful for government jobs exams. Attempt the MBA exams as well as the SBI PO, RRB exams that come your way. They will be good mocks for you even if you dont want to go for it. Those exams take long time to process the results. So you can get busy with MBA exams as well. When you crack one, you can always decide what you want to do later.
There is no harm preparing for both. :)
