Dear Aspirant ,

If you want to pursue B.Sc statistics you should go with loyola college . As Loyola college is ranked 6th among the 100 best colleges of India  which is way better than Bharath university and mcc . Loyola college has a great faculty with best professors and you won't  regret choosing this over two.

* Madras Christian College, (MCC),  Chennai

The eligibility criteria to get admission in to Delhi University for B.Sc Mathematics is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics with minimum 60% aggregate or more and 60% aggregate marks or more in one language from List A1, Mathematics and any two subjects from List B. To check the list of subjects in table A1 and list B you can refer the Delhi University brochure by copy and pasting the link in the web browser

I think you should go with higher studies. PhD is required for some academic jobs. You can get jobs during that time also as a research scholar. You can also try to clear the NET exam. Otherwise you have to apply in government or private higher secondary schools for part time jobs. You may got job as a part time faculty. You can also use your extra curriculum activities as your profession.  It would be helpful for you and besides this you can do private tuitions. You can teach Science group for junior students and Statistic for the senior students. It may be good for you. In that case you no need to appear in any exam. But for the school job purpose you have to crack the interview. If you have good marks in your MSC and the past exams, it will be helpful for your career. You may get a job in a popular school and you will get a good salary for that. I think my words will be helpful for you. I have tried as much as possible for you. You haven't mentioned whether you want to know about TS ICET or AP ICET.
The eligibility criteria for AP ICET requires a candidates to have completed their three-year degree course in any discipline from recognized university or its equivalent in 10+2+3 pattern from recognized by University.

The exam pattern consists of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and you will get 150 minutes to solve the paper.There are 3 Sections un the exam :
  • Mathematical Ability
  • Analytical Ability
  • Communication Ability

Can I apply for DRDO exam ...i have done M.Sc. in Statistics

The eligibility criteria for applying into DRDO exam states that the candidate must have a bachelor's degree in science or 3 years of diploma degree in disciplines such as allied sciences, technology, engineering, computer science etc.,from a recognised university. It also says that candidates in their final year of degree in any relevant discipline may also apply. So, if you feel you satisfy this criteria, you can apply for the same.

i m doing bsc,im in third year so i have given GATE paper in statistics,my gate score comes to be 360 and rank 73 so first question is wheather i m eligible or not to apply in colleges??if eligible what i can get from those numbers as there is no information about it what so ever??

Hello ansh,

You can apply in different colleges for Msc in applied statistics, or statistics or related fields, you can also go for jobs where you can show your GATE score, as you have a good rank and marks.

You can go for actuarial science, software development also.

You can go for teaching also in top coaching platforms in statistics also.
