Hey !!
An OBC candidate should score minimum of 500 to take admission in B.J. Medical college through government state quota. As per last year cutoff for open category in State Quota the minimum cutoff was 557. Since the highest marks this year is very high , hence the cutoffs also raise.

Hii I had achieved 511 marks in NEET UG 2019 with OBC category. Will I get seat in BJ MEDICAL college??

Dr.Chhavi Srivastava 11th Jun, 2019
Hi

As per your query I would like to tell you that last year least marks to secure a seat in Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, and College of Nursing, Pune   was 505 marks under 70% regional quota and 545 marks underr 30% state quota from your category. According to which you have fair chance of getting a seat in Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, and College of Nursing, Pune only if you apply under 70% regional quota. Talking of which remember that cutoff varies every year depending on number of students appearing in exam, difficulty level of exam, students scoring more than you and your category.

Dear Student,

First, your NEET SCORE of 562 is considered between high and moderate and you have a great chance of securing a government seat in a government medical college.

However, specific B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad government college can also be possible with your score.

For your reference, Government Medical College Cutoff 2018 Gujarat:

The details are mentioned as College and  OBC Cutoff.

1. B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad: 498

2. Government Medical College, Baroda: 492

3. M.P.Shah Medical College, Jamnagar: 488

4. P.D.U. Medical College, Rajkot: 472

5. Government  Medical College, Bhavnagar: 468

Conclusion: Congratulations! You may get into any government colleges in Gujarat but specific college can not be confirmed yet but although you have exceeded the cutoffs. It gets all up to the competition and availability of seats to get your admission in that specific college otherewise you may get any of the mentioned above as all are considered Government Medical Colleges and all have a similar Fee structure and are governmed by the Government.

For other queries or doubts, you can ask another question and it will satisfactorily be answered.

I consider your query has met with its conclusion.
