I will guide you step by step as how to become a cardiac/ heart surgeon in India after 12th.
1.The prerequisite is that you should have 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry,Biology/ Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognised Board.
2. The 12th standard percentage required for NEET 2021 exam depends on different category .NEET eligibility marks are considered as aggregate of PCB subjects.
UR - 50%,
OBC/SC/ST - 40%,
PWD - 45%.
3.Apply for NEET UG -National Eligibility Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses and secure a MBBS seat in a medical Institute that is registered under the Medical Council of India.
4. After completion of your MBBS degree of 5 1/2 years along with internship period.
5. The next step is to apply for NEET PG examination and secure a seat for MS in General Surgery from a medical Institute registered under the Medical Council Of India.
6. For doing MS in general surgery, candidates must complete their one year internship after MBBS.
7. The next step is to apply for MCh in cardiac surgery.
You need to qualify the corresponding entrance test to get admission to do MCh in cardiology, where candidates can specialise in either cardiovascular surgery or cardiothoracic surgery. Several Institutes in India offers both MS and MCh courses.

see to become a surgeon, you need to study mbbs,i.e bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery. mbbs course is based on human anatomy, medicines and diseases treatment, surgical theory. mbbs is five years duration course, 4 years of study and 1 year mandatory internship. once you complete you mbbs course, you need to do post graduate M.S in surgery which is 2 years duration.
