Sir i have got 345 in neet 2019 ug and i m a sc canditate of tamilnadu state..plse tell me the possiblity of geeting govt seats

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 9th Jun, 2019
In 2018, under State Quota, 239 marks secured a seat in 239 marks secured a seat in Rajah Mutiah Government Medical College. Going by previpus cut offs, you have a chance at:
PSG Institute of Medical Sciences
Madurai Medical College
Tanjavur MedicalCollege
Coimbatore Medical College among others.  Having said that, cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of seats availble, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. You can check the cut offs of each college at:

Can you prepare for neet while being in vet school?

Adeel khan 9th Jun, 2019

Hello Stuti

Many students go through this confusion whether they should give up on their dreams after not getting selected in Medical college or they should continue preparing for Medical and enrolling themselves in another course. See everything is possible if you are dedicated enough to manage two courses at the same time, it'll be tough but not impossible, BDS is a course in which you have to study seriously in order to clear semesters and understand the concepts of various subjects, you will have to manage your timings by giving equal importance to both the things. you will have to give your 200% to each and everything. to be honest the cons are more than pros, but the most important pro is that you'll get your dream course, so take your time and ask yourself whether you can give up on all distractions and just study rigrously for both the courses or not. As you are experienced and you know how hard NEET is, it'll be a plus point for you, just focus on marks gaining topics and study smart. Don't loose hope :-)

All the very Best :-)

Full procedure of surgeon with deegres

muppavarapu jyothi 8th Jun, 2019

Hi Rohit,

I am here to help you with your query in a little way. First of all, To become a surgeon you have study Bipc in 12th and after that, you should pursue your bachelor degree from a bachelor of biology which includes many other subjects by completing Graduation. After that, for another four years, you have to join any medical school to pursue your doctorate. Further, you have to do training under some other professional for 3-10 years to gain a piece of practical knowledge and become a skilled surgeon.

All the best surgeon.

Thank you.

Hey M neet aspairant this is my 2nd attempt last year I got 283 marks..n this year 480 ..should I drop one more year.or can I get semi govt

Animesh Vats Student Expert 19th Jul, 2019

Hi Anika,

Well, it totally depends on your motivation and inner self knowing whether this drop is required or not. I must say that you performed really nice because the hike in the marks is really good.

If you think you can surely do it in the next chance and will get a college then you should go for it.

Regrets are never fruitful when they tease you and does not allow you to focus.

Look for your preparations and then if you feel more confident and comfortable with one more year drop them you should go for it.

I hope this information helps.

All the best.

Yashashwini Kokkala 4th Jun, 2019

Hello vijayvignaraj,

Firstly salute for choosing medical as your profession. Medical is a course where you need be a lot more focused and its takes a very long time to complete but trust me once you get into practice there would be all butterflies around....

Well coming to the point once of you complete MBBS then you need to take  NEET PG examination which is a further step for your MASTER'S it takes around 2yrs and then later you need to takeup another examination for your specialization i.e PH.D it takes around 3yrs soo completely your

MBBS (5yrs)+MASTERS(2yrs)+PH.D(3yrs)=total 10 yrs  to complete the whole of your medical....

Don't worry by seeing the duration but you will sure enjoy your study...

All the best....

Can a physiotherapist be a surgeon

Ronit Jain 4th Jun, 2019

Physiotherapists cannot perform surgeries in particular however; their concerned area of work is primarily preoperative and postoperative in order to restore natural bodily movement. Only a qualified surgeon is allowed to perform invasive practice of a surgery. You'll have to do MBBS first and then MS/MD to become a surgeon.

Hello abhi me very sad to my neet score-210-200 marks sayad depress with silly mistakes and not remb formula and too much time taken in bi

ANPAM KUMAR Student Expert 3rd Jun, 2019

Hey there

Do not get depressed by your score as marks doesn't decide one's future. As per your marks you will not get AIIMS Delhi or any other government colleges. Though if you can afford you can have management seat in medical colleges which are self funded.

Check neet cutoff

From which doctor can we get the medical certificate for josaa counselling?by surgeon, deputy civil surgeon or civil surgeon?or any of them?

akanshavg241 Student Expert 10th Jul, 2019
Hey Vinay,

For getting medical certificate for JOSAA counseling you can go to any registered doctor.

You just have to take the print out of Page 53 (Annexure 8) from business rules pdf from the Josaa official website and take it to the doctor and can ask them for doing the medical check ups as per the format of Medical Certificate. Go to only a government hospital for medical check ups otherwise your medical certificate would be considered invalid.

Good Luck!
