To become a surgeon, in India you would require a minimum of 11.5 years.
First you will have to complete your MBBS degree which will take you 5.5 years (including compulsory internship period) Then you will pursue an MS degree which will take you 3 years. After that,

Clear PGMEE and Do MS in general surgery
After MS clear super speciality exam do MCh in CTVS i.e. cardiothoracic and vascular surgery
