Is there any chance (80.199 percentile ) in snap for SIIB or SIBM banglore?

v neeraja 10th Jan, 2019

Hi Isha,

SIBM generally comes at a percentile above 90. Sometimes it can go to 87 or 88 percentile for a General Category student. This is the trend over the years. Even SIIB generally has a cutoff around 92 percentile. So as per previous year trends, if you belong to General Category, 80.199 percentile seems very low to get a call from SIIB or SIBM Bangalore.

You can however try for other Symbiosis colleges.

All the best

Does Sibm accept Mah Cet Score??

Mrudul Vasant Naik 4th Jan, 2019

Hey Advait,

SIBM or any institute under Symbiosis University accepts only SNAP score for admission into the MBA course.

You can get more details about SNAP here:

 https://bschool.careers360.com/exams/snap

So, Mah-CET scores are not valid for Admission into SIBM.

Hope this helps,

Regards.

Hi..Scoring around 55-60 in SNAP 2018 can land me a call from SIIB or SIBM Bangalore?

Naman Modi 23rd Dec, 2018

Hello Protyay

For SIBM Bangalore, you need a SNAP score of 85+. Sorry to say but I dont think so you will get a call from SIBM or SIIB Bangalore.

Though you can get SIMS Pune with this score easily .

Thank You

I am scoring 30 to 35 marks in snap is there any chance i will get call from siib pune or sibm Bangalore ( sc category)?

v neeraja 22nd Dec, 2018

Hi Shradha,

The number of seats in SIIB are 200 while that for SIBM Bangalore are 150. These come after SIBM Pune and SCMHRD. Generally the cutoffs for both these institutes are near to 90 percentile. In 2018 the cutoff was 92%le and 88%le respectively.

With a relatively better score by candidates this year, a lot of institutes and online score predictors are prediction 93%le for SIIB and 90%le for SIBM Banglore. This comes to a score of around 90.

Since you have SC category the cutoffs by raw scores this year are expected to be around 55-60 for SIIB and 45-50 for SIBM Banglore. Comparing with this, I believe you may not get a call. However, it all depends on relative performance of the other candidates. So Let's hope for the best.

I am getting a score of 69 in SNAP as i calculated now. What all colleges can i expect call from? is Any chance for SIBM Pune??

Aditi Garg 21st Dec, 2018

Hi jaikishan

As per the cutoff of SNAP predicted by experts and according to your expected SNAP score, you can try for the following colleges under Symbiosis International (Deemed University):

SIBM (Bengaluru)

SIIB

SIOM, SITM, SCIT

SSBF,SIMS, SIIB (Energy / Agriculture)

SICSR,SIMC

SIHS,SSMS,SSSS,SSMC

The expected cutoff of SIBM Pune is 70+, hence the chances seem bleak.

Snap paper i have attempted around 82 -85 with 85% accuracy . which college should i apply now ? i have already applied for SCIT and SIBM B

Smit Parmar 19th Dec, 2018

Try out

SITM

SCMHRD

SIOM

SIBM Hyderabad

Also go for other colleges like SSBF SSSS etc. Keep more backup you might convert a better college and leave the newer ones. But if you dont having a good backup is better.

Hope this helps.

All the Best.
