    TAPMI & GLIM bothe the college's are of same level now it completely depends on you which subject you are going to opt, because both the college's have  few subjects which are comparetively better, which gives better placement.     I am a CAT aspirant & have appeared for CAT, XAT,& SNAP & scored 90%ile. With acads 10th-7.4CGPA, 12th-82% & in graduation(2018)-64% with no work experience due to family problem. Would I able to secure a seat in good college? I have been shortlisted for TAPMI, FORE, IIMV for round one till now.

    I have CAT score of 84.65, VARC 67 DI/LR 90 and 10th/12th 75% and 62% in graduation, OBC category, Can anyone let me know which colleges should I fill like KJSOM, TAPMI, BIM Trichy?

    With your CAT percentile you can get a call from BIM Trichy as it requires a minimum of 80 percentile in CAT. KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research and TAPMI Manipal require atleast 85 percentile in CAT. But the last date to apply for BIM Trichy 23rd January whereas for TAPMI and KJ Somaiya it is open.

    Hey! Can you tell me which one is better among TAPMI and FORE? I scored 89.5 percentile in cat? which one is better for placement and which has better ROI.

    Both are excellent colleges in terms of placements. The fees of FORE School of Management for their PGDM program is nearly 15.98 lakhs and that of TAPMI is nearly 14.6 lakhs. The placements for both of them are more or less same with an average compensation package of 10-12 lakhs. If you're getting a call from both the colleges you must attend the selection process for both but if you get selected for both then you should go for FORE School of Management. You'll have better opportunities there.

    TAPMI Manipal is one of the best B schools in India and considers the scores of exams like CAT, XAT and GMAT only. TAPMI doesn't consider MAT scores and they have already declared their cutoffs for these three examinations in their official website.

    But you have a pretty decent MAT scores so you can definitely check out some other good colleges accepting MST scores like

    As per the data provided by you, you have a chance of getting TA Pai Management Institute, Manipal.

    TAPMI accepts the scorecard of three national level entrance tests - Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), Common Aptitude Test (CAT) and GMAT for its admission process. Apart from that candidates should have completed their graduation in any discipline. The institute will also consider the academic profile and work experience (after graduation) of candidates before shortlisting for written ability test (WAT), Personal Interview (PI) and Group Discussion (GD) round.

    The eligibility procedure for taking admission in this institute is :

    • Firstly, candidates’ profile will be shortlisted on the basis of XAT, CAT or GMAT score + academic profile and work experience.

    • After that, shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Ability Test (WAT) + Personal Interview (PI) + Group Discussion (GD)
