Doing MBA from a well known college like iim, Xavier etc will be really helpful. You may get good placements in bangalore and even in foreign countries. Your b. Tech percentage will not affect that much there. So try to get better MBA college than tapmi
Hi aspirant
Whatever the course you study, you can get a job in both foreign countries and India. In India, you need not clear any language testing exams to get a job. Whereas in foreign countries, you need IELTS, TOEFL and GRE scores. But the salary will be high in foreign countries when comparing with India.
All the best.
Hello Akaanksha. Both KJ SIMSR and TAPMI are almost at par with each other, with an edge for SIMSR in terms of its location. For SIMSR, its core is the best, while remaining courses do not add up to its name. The same goes out for TAPMI as well.Hence when you compare a SIMSR FS with TAPMI core, I would say TAPMI core is a better call.
Hope this helps.
Hello Simran. Well, first of all, FORE is not comparable to TAPMI or IMT-G with all due respect. The DCP in IMT-G does have a lot cons as compared to other on-campus programs. Moreover, you will not receive much exposure in the Dubai campus in the first year. Cut to second year, and the placement season begins in Ghaziabad as soon as you come. So, you will not have any time to adjust with your curriculum, your PDP programs, etc. On hindsight, there are very good faculties of both operations and marketing in IMT-G.
Coming to TAPMI, it is quite decent b-school for marketing with good faculties and a structured peer learning. When you compare both the colleges, all the courses of IMT-G are better than TAPMI except the DCP program, thanks to the unstructured program.

Hello Vanshika ,
As you asked for a suggeston between the two of them. So I would suggest you to go for PGDM tapmi as for learning and placement purpose .Tapmi will provide you a large number of varities to go for as career opportunities . You will find Tapmi as the better place to explore yourself than the other .
Hope it helps.
Thank you :)
Hi Milind,
If you want a comparison between the two on the basis of ranking on the websites and magazines then
If you want a comparison on the basis of course fees then
According to careers360, I would like to mention some parameters of both the institutions.
TAPMI
KJ SOMAIYA
If we talk about the placements, both the institutions are almost neck to neck. TAPMI and KJ Somaiya are no different. I don't think either of them is better, it's about which one is better for you. Beyond a point, it's really difficult to objectively rate B schools as there are a lot of parameters involved. To get a realistic picture, I would suggest you ask students/alumni questions regarding various parameters (pedagogy, faculty, placements, companies visiting, roles offered, packages offered for different roles etc). You should consider all these parameters and then decide which B school suits you better as per your preferences.
Hope the above-shared information is helpful to you.
Do feel free to revert back in case of any doubt or query in the comment section regarding the shared information.
Thank You.
Hello Karthik,
It is the way the college authorities have taken a decision. We won't know the reason why a college accepts scores from a certain exam and why it does not accept scores from another exam. Administration body of a college is concerned to take such decisions and they are not answerable to anyone.
For your knowledge, they accept the scores of exams like CAT, MAT, GMAT, CMAT, and XAT. So you can think about appearing for those exams as well.
Hello Raj Acharya,
CAT 2018 - 85 percentile
XAT 2019 - 85 Percentile
GMAT - 650 Score
Thanku.
