If it is for Undergraduate courses like BE/BB.Tech, then you have to appear for TNEA Counselling conducted by Anna University. Anna University has no entrance examination and the admission is through TNEA which is the counselling process. The admission to BE/B.Tech courses is conducted on the basis of merit scored in 12th. As many as 563 Institutions participate in TNEA Counselling. Though TNEA is primarily for Candidates who fulfil the Nativity criteria, few seats are also allotted for Candidates out of Tamilnadu. This number is approximately 50. The University has not released TNEA application forms yet. Once Anna University releases the online registration process, you need to register and appear for counselling.

You haven't mentioned your Category. We do not have 20199 data yet. Neverthless, you can check the cut offs of GMCs of Tamilnadu for 2018 at our page: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-tamil-nadu . Now this is 2018 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So for a seat under General Category, you will need more than 550 and for Reserved Categories, you will need more than 475. To help you during admission and counselling, we have https://www.careers360.com/mbbs-companion.
OBC Category has 27% reservation in NEET across India. The same rule also applies to Tamilnadu NEET Counselling. It is not that specific Colleges would have OBC seats and other would not. The seats are distributed across Colleges. For example, if a Medical College has 100 seat intake, 27 seats are allotted to OBCs and this is the same across all Government and Private Medical Colleges. For a seat under OBC Category, you will need atleast 500-550. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. To help you with your NEET preparation, we have NEET Knockout packages that you can check at: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/. Hello,
With the given percentile if we calculate your overall expected rank with the formula (100-your total percentile)*869010/100 it will be around 69520.Where 869010 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session.Your rank based on category is expected to be in between 15000-16000.You did not mention whether you come under to NCL or CL.If you come under CL then you are considered as general category. In 2019 the cut off was as follows branch wise in NIT, Trichy for home state OBC-NCL and general category respectively
Considering this you may not get seat in this NIT.You need to score 98 or above percentile to have decent chances of getting seat.To get such percentile you need to score 220 or above marks. The cut off for admission in IITs/NITs/IIITs is given in terms for rank, the percentile is converted into rank. Cut off is dependent on number of candidates appeared, highest score, number of seats available etc.It may increase or decrease.
