what should we provide as proof that my son/daughter has studied 6th to 12th in tamil nadu ? He had studied in tanil nadu only but the college is asking proof fir it what should i provide???

Parmeshwar Suhag 10th Oct, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

Generally all the colleges ask for the proof of your completion of 12th class. You can submit them Character Certificate of your son/daughter. For this you have to visit your son/daughter school. You can easily ask from the school principal to make a character certificate for your son/daughter. It includes the thing that your son has completed 12th from this school.

And then you can submit it as a proof to the college .

Hope this helps.

With JEE main rank can we opt for govt and private colleges in Tamil Nadu like Anna university, Chennai and VIT Vellore.

U. Janani 18th Nov, 2020

Hi Senthil!

VIT Vellore does accept JEE Main Scores for their admission process. They accept both JEE Main Scores and your 12th Board Exam Marks. You have to submit any of these marksheets for the further process of admission.

When it comes to Anna University, Chennai, they do not accept JEE Main Scores. They do not have any other Entrance Exams too. They accept only on the basis of your 10th and 12th Board Exam Marks (PCM).

Hope this is helpful!

Best of luck!

Sir, I did my complete school studies from std 1to std 12 in karnataka. But my native is TamilNadu, and parents completed their school and colleges in Tamil nadu only. Shall i apply for Tamil nadu state councelling? pls clarify it.

Abhishek Roy 17th Nov, 2020

I believe since you have completed your 10th and 12th from Karnataka and perhaps have been living in Karnataka for the last 10 years as your Permanent Address on Aadhar Card will suggest, in spite of the fact your parents are from Tamil Nadu, you will be able to access Karnataka Domicile and state quota advantage and not that of Tamil Nadu. Hence  if you apply for Tamil Nadu State Counselling you wont get the State Advantage.

crremyaprasad 22nd Oct, 2020
Hello student,

The eligibility criteria for keam are,

Nationality

Candidates should be of Indian nationality.

However, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) will also be termed eligible for KEAM 2021. These candidates will not be eligible for reservation.

Domicile

Candidates have to belong to one of the following categories - Keralite, Non-Keralite Category I (NK I) or Non-Keralite Category II (NK II). To prove the domicile, the candidates will be required to submit certain documents.

So only a keralite or the one having domcile certificate of kerala can only participate in keam .

how to get admission for vet in tamil nadu or any other states?.. i m a keralite

Raychel 6th Oct, 2020

Dear Applicant,

I hope you are doing well. If you wish to do veterinary in Tamil Nadu or any other state you need to answer neet exam and clear it off. Neet is applicable to any medical institution in Goa. The second option is some states have separate entrance exams that are held to admit students for only those states like KCET for karnataka etc.. For BSC ie UG entrances are different than those for PG. Please note

Hope this helps. All the best
