Your score is good and makes you eligible for admission process. selection is done on the basis of rank + 12th score. so there is good chance to get admission.

as of now , jee mains 2nd session is not conducted yet. after 2nd session, rank list will be released.  There will be so much change in rank as many student will perform better. There is cutoff range for every branch in every college. if your rank satisfies the cutoff range then you will be selected.

Different Institutes consider different entrance exams for lateral entry in engineering. The regional goverment colleges as well as a few private colleges grant admission on the basis of state entrance exams. While other private colleges might conduct their separate entrance exams for lateral entry.

All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) is a National Level competitive exam to give admission various undergraduate engineering and architecture courses. This test is organized by NTA(National Testing Agency). This AIEEE is introduced in the year 2002 and renamed in April 2013 as  JEE(Joint Entrance Examination)  Main.

The AIEEE 2012 was the last edition of the exam.

As per My knowledge and Research, The Engineering Entrance Exams other than JEE which carried out for the admission of candidates into the B.E/B.Tech courses in Tamil Nadu.

• Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam - Candidates who are applying for this course should have completed their class XII or its equal with atleast 60% marks in PCM or PCB.
• Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination - Those who are applying for this exam must have completed their standard XII exam or its equal with PCM subjects. They must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in each paper. Candidates who have a diploma from the State Board of Mechanical Education with a minimum of 60-70 % can apply too. In the case of candidates from the backward category, a pass will suffice.
• Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions – Candidates who wish to appear for this examination must have cleared their class 12 exams with PCM. They must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the exam.
• Vinayaka Missions University Engineering Entrance Exam – To appear in this exam, students should have a pass in their standard 10+2 exam or its equal with PCM.  Candidates applying for the Biomedical /Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics courses must have a pass in class 12 or its equal with PCM/PCB.
• Annamalai University Engineering Entrance Exam - Candidates who are applying for this exam must have completed their Higher Secondary or equivalent examination. Those candidates who are appearing for the qualifying exam can apply too .
