Hey Udaya
Cut off for TANCET is the minimum marks required to get shortlisted for admission to various colleges in Tamil Nadu.
To know which college you will get you should write your marks instead of your percentile. Since this year most isc and cbse schools have given higher than usual marks in 12th boards therefore the cutoff scores are expected to rise.
I cant really help you till I know your marks but you can check out this link https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/tancet-mba-cutoff . I hope it helps you.
There is high possibility to get as your score is eligible for 1st tier college. Branch stream is assigned as per your UG degree stream. to get MTech in Aerospace, you have to be Btech/BE aerospace graduate. you can't opt for any other degree specialization stream.
You should apply for the college option. as of current situation and delayed process of education, it will effect a lot to the whole process structure and it may not be same as it is used to be. So this is going to be new so there can be change in cutoff. Do apply and give one college option as security. Look out for government college option too. You will get one easily on the basis of your score.
hi,
see every year cutoff score changes and it depends on certain factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, choice of stream for m.tech, students category etc. however gate score holders gate first priority in tanca counselling. remaining seats fills by tancet score holders. now coming to the seat matrix , there is total of 25 seats in mtech in thermal engineering. so at this score chances in less for mtech in thermal engineering.
I suggest you to participate in the counselling process and lets see whats come around. meanwhile try for other colleges also.
