The last date to apply for TISS NET Entrance Examination  for admission to MA Course in Tata Institute of Social Sciences for the academic year 2022-23 is February 10, 2022. TISS National Entrance Test (TISS NET) Stage - I will be conducted on February 26, 2022 from 2 pm to 3.40 pm. The candidates who wish to seek admission for MA course must apply on or before February 10, 2022. So if you haven't applied on or before the last date you cannot  apply for the entrance examination now as the registration window is already closed and the admit card is available to download from February 17, 2022 for the candidates who have applied. You may have to wait until next year or apply for admission in to any other institute if you do not want to take a year off.

As per the information given in the query it is understood that your institution is affiliated to Madras University if that is the case you should mention the name of University as Madras University in the application form you are filling.

• You can be any in age group to apply for TISSNET.

Candidates satisfying the defined standards are eligible to apply for the exam online at tiss.edu. Candidates willing to take TISSNET 2022 must have completed the graduation of minimum 3 years duration or its equivalent from a recognized university. Final year candidates can also apply for the exam .

TISS accepts state NC OBC certificate. It accepts the certificate issued by revenue department of the particular states. Your parents income certificate should be enclosed with it. There is a time limit for the certificates issued. Make sure you aware of this.

A sample of prescribed format is given by TISS and you have to fill the details accordingly. They don't accept certificate of any other format.

Candidates belongs to creamy layer treated as general so you must submit non creamy layer obc certificate before TISS.

Tiss accepts NC OBC certificate issued by an official Revenue Department of the respective state government.so it is okay if you submit state nc obc certificate which is not older than 6 months.

and also download the sample format of obc certificate from the tiss website because they don't accept OBC certificate other than their prescribed format.
