Look , now .. most of the companies like TCS, WIPRO, Infosys etc. wants skilled and knowledgeable freshers than the core CS students . Core CS not only a primary factor but also an additional  knowledge & deep concepts  of different programming and web languages of non-IT students can help to get a job in IT sectors .

Now come to TCS , TCS generally hires through on and off campusing .

Dear candidate the backlog papers you have to clear for selection, unless your record shows a degree achieved with all success, you have to struggle a lot to get selected. Well if your records are clear then MNCs like Wipro, Cognizant will hire you on the basis of your expertise. When it comes to Tata Consultancy services they conduct Entrance Examination during different periods of the year and on the merit basis select their employees, this is how you can get chance.

Not all of them that you mentioned have come to the campus of BIT Sindri. Only Tata Consulting Firm and Deloitte were there. Other companies that have come there for recruitment are Vedanta, Tata Steel, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Schlumberger, Multicoreware, Tata Steel Long Products.

TCS NextStep is an Exclusive web portal for entry level graduates to get the job in TCS. Candidates who interested join in Tata Consultancy Services through on campus/off campus they need to register themselves in the Nextstep TCS website.

As you can't change your name after you submit your application try contacting the support team through mail or the toll free number, dont worry. Do it as soon as possible.

Leading tech giants and recruitment firms like TCS, Wipro, Accenture have a rule that an education gap of more than one year is not suitable. However, it is different for different firms.

• For Wipro, a max. of three years of education interval is authorized in the middle of the 10th standard and undergraduate course.
• No intervals are enabled during Graduation. Graduation must be obtained in 3-4 years.
• Education must be formal full period only in 10th, 10+2, and Graduation acknowledged by the Central/State GOI.
• For TCS, It is compulsory to announce the gaps/arrears/backlogs at the time of education and/or job.
• Interval in education cannot be because of expansive schooling.
• Any gap in education/job for more than 24 months is not enabled and is acceptable only for reasonable explanations.
• For Accenture, gap-related norms are not there but the HR interviewer might ask you about it. So, better be prepared for this.

Well this is a thing that depends on you only as tcs does recruit printing engineers from jadhavpur university but if you dont work hard then don't expect anything you will need to acquire all the necessary skills and subject knowledge for getting placed as it is tcs is a mass recruiter so getting placed in it not very tough but then also you will need to work for getting placed just sitting in the placements willl not get you anything so work hard if you want to get on campus placement in tcs

The question you have asked, in such a manner that what you want to know is hard to understand. Now I guess you are asking that you have done your Madhyamik on 2013 and on 2015 August you have applied for the Diploma and you are asking that you are eligible for the TCS or not.

See TCS don't impose any such eligibility conditions regarding drops or the gap years. So for that matter you won't face much of a problem. But you must be sure that you are satisfying the other criterions such as the Skills required, Marks in your Diploma, Age etc. Due to the GAP year you have nothing to worry about.
