my neet aiq rank is 372856 and my category rank is 37556 I am from karnataka I have sc and rural and linguistic telugu minority reservation from karnataka do I have chances getting govt seat in private medical college

Anurag Khanna 20th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

On such rank and category you have very low chances of getting any of the Private medical college with government seat according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that last year the closing rank was 222216 for government seat in Subbaiah Institute of Medical Science, Shimoga under Home state quota for SC category.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-karnataka

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.

Hello Raghava,

I don't think so it is possible because once the details given in class 10th regarding all this is not altered again. And if it is done then your school authorities will be able to guide you regarding this. So try contacting your school authorities and clear it out from them.

Hi, for claiming linguistic minority (telugu) seat for MBBS in Karnataka, is the study certificte issued by CBSE school enough? or attestation by block education officer also required?

Afifa 15th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant

If you belong to linguistic minority group, there is about 55% seat reservation for this respective linguistic and religious candidates based on their merit list.

The documents needed are Muslim Religious / Telugu Linguistic caste certificates issued by the competent authority and also the mother tongue certificate issued by the Head of the i nstitution where the candidate has studied 10th standard.

hope this information is clear

thanks

i hv secured 422 marks in neet 2020.i have telugu minority too and i belong to karnataka.will those marks be enough to get into vydehi medical college?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 9th Oct, 2020

In 2019, under State Quota, 384 marks secured a seat in Vydehi Medical College under General Category. So with a score of 422, you do have decent chances for a Government Quota seat in this College with Minority Reservation. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Sharon Rose Student Expert 28th Aug, 2020

Hello,

Even though you have opted regional language you can see questions both in Telugu and English. You do not have to worry, you can read the questions in English and answer. The options given will be same in both languages. Also you will not face any problems during the counselling. The language you have opted has nothing to do with the counselling.

In neet exam if choose telugu medium what languages will i get during exam.?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 26th Aug, 2020

Eswar, when you choose any other Language except English as the language of question paper, you will be given the Question paper in that language and also in English. For example, in your case, if you have chosen Telugu as the language of the Exam Paper in NEET, you will be asked questions in both Telugu and English.
