With ur rank 190000 u can easily get most of the branches in the THAPAR University if u r from the Punjab state only which means the state quota.

But if u r outside the Punjab state then....u should be waiting for some branches

Definetly you can't get as CSE is a very demand branch so you have to have a very good score to get a seat in that branch , but there is one chance that if you belongs to SC OR ST reservation catogery then you can hope a seat in

The exact dates have not been released. However, going by past-practice, it is assumed that tentatively in mid-June the admissions to Thapar Institute for the Lateral Entry Entrance Test [LEET] will begin. The exam is normally scheduled in the last week of June. Keep a check on the

77 percentile means that nearly 23 percent students are ahead of you and score more than you.

And if you calculate approximately rank it comes out to be nearly more than 2 lakhs.

And within this rank you will get Thapar as per the previous year cut off

Placements at Thapar are pretty good, especially for CSE, COE and related branches. A friend of mine got placed through campus, and companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, Infosys and many others visit regularly. If you maintain a good CGPA and build your skills, you'll get plenty of opportunities.

It's very tough that your son gets admission in Thapar university in CSE branch.  Last year it was around 127 marks for the 3rd round.  This year it's expected to be around the same only.
