Good Luck
Hello there,
First criteria is 75% attendance including tutorials, lecture and Lab( lab has 2 attendance per lab) Failing to do so leads to detention which means you have to repeat course in next semester or in summer, In detention case you get the exact grade you score.
Second is 33 marks combining tutorials practicals quizes and semester exams, you still pass the subject if you score less than 33% in End sem or any other exam.
Third, there is a new system introduced in which you can still get D grade if you score less than 33 for which criteria is
a- if you score between 33 and 27 in one subject, and more than 33 in others, you can Get D grade without repeating the course.
B - if you score between 33 and 30 in two subjects, and more than 33 in others, you can get D grade in both subject
If you don't satisfy any of above criteria, and get E grade in a subject, you can appear for a exam, the marks of this exam are substituted as your ENDSEM marks:
IF your total marks become more than 33, then you get D grade in the subject,
If you don't score more than 33 after this exam either then you have to repeat the subject in next semesters, you get D grade on passing the subject
Hope it helps.

hi,
see the cutoff score changes every year and it varies with students category, choice of stream, number of applicants, students category etc. however students allotted stream based on 10+2 score and jee main score. also separate seats intake is applicable for panjab students and outside state students. based on your percentile you have chances for computer engineering, production engineering stream in TIET.
