You didn't mention your category. Assuming as UR, i want to inform you that the cut off for WBNUJS Kolkata goes approx 122 according to previous year trends.

I also want to clarify that the admissions, cut off and the ranks depend on many factors which are subject to fluctuations every year like the difficulty level, the seat matrix and number of students appearing.

i am an 3rd year student of BA who want to enter this university to pursue PG diploma in public health care and medical law......should i write CLAT for this???

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 30th Jul, 2020
Hello,

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a centralised national level governmental entrance test for admissions to twenty two National Law Universities (NLU) in India. Most private and self-financed law schools in India also use these scores for law admissions.
The eligibility for doing PG Diploma in public health is that a candidate should have M.B.B.S. or BDS or B.Sc. degree in the field of health sciences, nursing or natural sciences or holding a BA degree in social science or any other equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
For pursuing medical law you don't have to appear in CLAT, you can get direct admission in some law colleges.

I hope this helps.

hello..I want to ask that is it is necessary to stay in hostels in this college??

Ankit Dahiya Student Expert 13th Apr, 2020
Hello,
In most colleges it is not necessary to stay in the hostels offered by the colleges. Infact most colleges do not have enough hostel rooms to accommodate all students
However there are some colleges which are strictly residential and you need to be compulsorily living in the college hostels.
It would be best to consult the website the college you want to seek admission in. Or contact the administration of that college.

Good luck

I WANT SOME TIPS TO CRACK CLAT AND ENTER INTO WBNUJS.

Sunanda Dhar Student Expert 6th Aug, 2019

Here are some tips to increase your chances of cracking CLAT-

You cannot learn a thing you think you know ( - Poets of the Fall) - approach every problem as if it’s going to be a learning experience. Don’t refuse to learn from it assuming you already know all knowledge it has to offer.

Don’t let the fear of scoring bad in mocks or any other form of assessment demotivate you from assessing your progress - it is vital for you to track how good/bad you’ve been doing.

Don’t fear experimenting in your approach while taking mocks, this will help you develop an approach which best suits you.

Be thorough with your GK and current affairs, don’t let work pile up, study every single day. Don’t go through them as a burden, go through them as if you’re reading a story.

Take good care of your health during your preparation and eat a healthy nutritious diet. Do take proper rest, don’t deprive yourself of sleep. Health>Studies, only if you’re healthy you will be able to study efficiently.

Strike a perfect balance between speed and accuracy in your mocks, there is an inverse relation between the two, so be careful and don’t focus too much on one of them.

Dream big! If you set your goals ridiculously high and it's a failure, you will fail above everyone else's success. — James Cameron.

Don’t measure the duration of your study session. I see many people committing this “sin”. What matters is your quality and your temperament while you study, not the hours you can sit with a book in front of you.

Word hard play hard - Wiz Khalifa. Work, and also enjoy yourself, play some sport, read a book or a short story, hang out with friends, listen to music, etc. Studying all day long is counter productive. Take gaps, and do something constructive.

Hope you find it helpful

let me know in the comment box if you are having any further doubts

thanks

Good Luck!
