I scored 32 normalized mark in tancet MBA 2019,belongs to sc category ,will I get tsm or ssn,and tell my rank?

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 8th Jul, 2019

With the score you're mentioning I'm afraid it's a little difficult to get into either Thiagarajar school of Management (as their cutoff lies somewhere near 36 for SC candidates) or Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar college of engineering (as their cutoff for SC candidates lies somewhere near 42).

But if seats remain vacant then only you may get a chance.

Otherwise you can check out these colleges also

  • RMK Engineering college, Gummidipoondi
  • Easwari Engineering college, Ramapuram
  • St. Joseph's college of Engineering, Chennai
  • Sona School of Management
  • PSG Institute of Management, Coimbatore and other private colleges

Good luck

I got 32 normalized score in tancet MBA 2019,belongs to sc category will I get tsm college?

snigdha.sharan19_9176762 Student Expert 6th Jul, 2019

Hi Yuvaraj,

Based on your score and category, it is highly unlikely for you to get a seat in Thiagarajar School of Management, Thirupparankundram because as per previous year's cutoff the cutoff for SC category was 48 marks for SC category, which is difficult for you to clarify. You may get a seat in below colleges:

  • St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, OMR, Chennai
  • Easwari Engineering College, Ramapuram, Chennai
  • R M K Engineering College, Gummidipoondi, Thiruvallur
  • Velammal Engineering College, Chennai
  • Measi Institute of Management, Royapettah
  • Gnanam School of Business, Sengipatti

Good Luck.

I have scored 560.50 in may mat exam . will i get admission in tsm madurai college for mba?

Saurabh 24th May, 2019
Hi tanya,  it depends on the field that you want to choose. Also MAT is considered for All India seats.  So cutoffs are mostly between the range of 540 to 600 marks. This year cutoff is expected to be around 540 for MBA operations,  marketing,HR. So yes you have a good chance of getting into Thiagarajar School of Management - [TSM], Madurai. Hope this helps.

BIMM Pune ,TSM Madurai , Jaipuria Institute, ITM Navi Mumbai, AIMS Bangalore which should be the best compared to better ROI and placement

Shravan Hari 27th Mar, 2019

Hi Rohan, the ROI depends on the factors of Investments and returns from the college after studies. So coming to the investments point of view, the fees at these colleges are,

TSM Madurai - 4.5 lakhs

BIMM Pune - 6.6 lakhs

ITM Navi Mumbai - 9.5 lakhs

Jaipuria institute - 9.5 lakhs

AIMS Bangalore - 9 lakhs

Now coming to the returns point of view, the average salary package in these colleges are,

TSM Madurai - 6 lpa

BIMM Pune - 6-6.5 lpa

ITM - 7.5 lpa

Jaipuria - 6.7-6.9 lpa

AIMS Bangalore - 6.5 lpa

So comoaring the fees and average package analysis, the best ROI can be rated in this way as,

TSM Madurai > BIMM > ITM > AIMS > Jaipuria

Hii Ragavi,

Thiagarajar School of Management, [TSM] ,Management Fee Structure. The fee is the lowest when compared to similarly ranked institutions. It is the oldest B-School in South India. TSM charges around 6 lakhs for a 2 years programme which includes hostel and mess fees as well.

Thank you

I had applied for GD and PI in TSM at Madurai but still I didnt receive any messages and emails related to the admission.

Aman Yadav 14th Mar, 2019

Greetings Indhuja!

Hope you're doing great.

I'm really sad to hear that. This generally doesn't happen. Although, there could be 'n' numbers of possible reasons for such a situation. TSM, Madhurai is a reputed college which accepts CAT/XAT and other management examination to admission in their two year PGDM/MBA course and I'm sure the authority will get back to you as soon as possible. As the admission round isn't over yet and they are still calling out the candidate for admission. The college will roll out the list of the successful candidate once the whole process is over. You need not to worry. Just keep your eye on the regular update from the college

Meanwhile, try to contact the college authority and examination board of the college. The contact details are available on the college website: http://tsm.ac.in/

Hope this will help! Do reach out to comment section below for further help.

Cheers!
