As you scored 70 percentile then you have certainly less chance of secured seat in NITs. You might get admission in private colleges. Prepare for jee phase 2. If you could score well in this then you may get secured seat in NITs.

Yes, you can get admission in top engineering colleges by giving JEE Main Exam. But, most of the government engineering colleges take admission through OJEE only. Only 3 government engineering colleges take admission through JEE Main. But, you have a good range of private colleges to take admission
