Hi, Iam confused between what is The course which comes when u fill the form comes full time (MBA) , MBA (Marketing) .what is the differenc

Akshay Kadam 9th Oct, 2017
Full.time MBA course means a course which will give you a General Management degree. That means there is no specialization in any field but you have a fair knowledge of all sectors and you can use your knowledge in making strategies to grow up any company.

MBA marketing means that you're doing specialization in marketing  and you have excelled an ability to market any company's products.

Other than CAT there are exams like XAT (especially for XLRI but it's score is also valid in most of the b-schools), NMAT for Narsee Monjee, IIFT for Indian Institute of foreign trade college, SNAP for symbiosis,  MAT, CMAT, ATMA, CET.

If you are looking forward to give exams this year then is very little time left so you need to brush up on your basics and give up lots of mock test, analyse their solutions which will help you in overcoming your mistakes and come up with a strategy to attempt your paper which will definitely help you in improving your marks and percentile.

All the best for your preparations and exams!!

IFMR banaglore, Christ Banaglore, Chetana Mumbai, IES mumbai, MET Mumbai, NL Dalmia Mumbai, BIMM Pune are some decent colleges having cutoff nearky 70 percentile, although you would nees good GDPI score to get final admissions. Above based colleges have an average salary of 6lpa and placements are good enough for All students, the return on investment is fair and makes them reputed Bschools in Top 50 list. I have completed my graduation in 2017 and I am preparing for cat 2018 so will the 2 year gap affect in my selection in top b schools

Akshay Kadam 7th Oct, 2017
No this 2 year gap doesn't effect much in your selection process. On course during your interview round they might ask you what you were doing these two years. If you are able to convince them with a logical answer that justify your actions then there won't be any problem at all.

With your decent academic records and a good performance in CAT 2018 you will definitely able to crack a top institute like IIMs.

As you have enough time to prepare then I will recommend you to make sure you clear all your basics and make them strong. For good performance strong basics are essentially required. Along with this you can also start attempting lots of online mock test which will help you in overcoming your mistakes and come up with a strategy to attempt your paper which will definitely help you in improving your marks and percentile.

All.the best for your preparations!!
