Bangalore university is a very good and reputed university in India and offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses for students. Currently the university is accepting GATE scores for Masters in Engineering and Master's in Architecture. For an MBA and MCA you have to appear for their postgraduate common entrance test. The minimum eligibility is a graduation in the required subject along with 50% aggregate. The final admission is done through the merit list and the counseling process.

Can I get admission into Bangalore university for mtech I have gate score of 426

muppavarapu jyothi 5th Jun, 2019

Hi Ramakrishna,

I am here to help you out with your question. You didn't mention your category next time when you are asking a query on any social site please make sure you provide all details. To be honest, With 426 gate score you can't get any branch under any category in IISc Bangalore based on last year cutoff. If you are a general candidate then you must score at least 750+ to get a seat in any branch and 660+ for OBC and 580+ for SC and 500+ for ST. To see cutoffs for IISc Bangalore, please visit the link https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/gate-cutoff-for-iisc-bangalore

But don't get disappointed. Go for other best colleges you could get for your rank. Maybe you can get this college also as cutoff varies every year.

To predict the colleges you can get based on your gate rank then please visit the link https://engineering.careers360.com/gate-college-predictor?icn=GATE_clgpd&ici=GATE_article_view_sticky

I hope this will help you.

All the best.

Feel free to as your further queries.

Thank you.

Which college is better, vit or amrita university bangalore for cse or ece?

Syed arooj Student Expert 28th Apr, 2019
Hi.

It depends completely on you and your preferences. Few deciding factors would be campus, location, branch, feedback from seniors or alumni, atmosphere that is suitable for you, reputation, placement statistics. Coming to VIT, it has a so called FFCS(Fully Flexible Credit System) which allows you to select your courses by your own in any semester provided you are done with it's pre-requisite. You can choose your preferred professor and venue. It depends on you that how to take. It can either make your life or even break it. The infrastructure is great. Faculties are okay. Some are extremely good but few are not that bad. The atmosphere is amazing! You get to meet a lot of new people after coming here. You can find students from every corner of India and many from abroad too. The rules are damn strict in VIT. And is best for CSE. VIT always gives opportunities to everyone. It's your work to use it properly. Well according to me i prefer VIT better for CSE.

Hope it helps.
