Can i get admission in Delhi University for Bsc (Hons) { Math , Phy , Chem } if i got 89.5% in best four subjects.

ruchika.chauhan Expert 28th May, 2018

Hello,

You may have chances for admission. For admission to B.sc(hons) in  Mathematics the merit shall be determined on the basis of one language, mathematics and two best elective/academic subjects.

For admission to B.Sc (hons) Physics and chemistry, selection will be done on the basis of marks in the aggreagte of 3 science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. So, for admission to B.sc Hons in physics and B.Sc Hons in Chemistry marks of 3 subjects will be calculated.

Good luck!

I am a kashmiri migrant applying under this quota for Delhi University. My percentage in 12th was 63.2.My chances of getting into a college.

Abhishëk Das 27th May, 2018

You have no chance my friend getting a seat in DU. Your class 12th percentage is very low for a regular course in DU. B.Sc Physics is not in your radius. You should go for improvement exam next year and then apply in DU with good percentage.

All the best **

I got 82.2% in 12th class and I am from commerce stream. What is the best course according to my percentage? Can I get admission in Delhi un

Ankita Tibrewal 27th May, 2018
You can go for bcom or bba/BMS
Yes...there are colleges in South campus ..
it's difficult to get any college at such percentage in first three cutoffs.

You have to wait for further cutoffs so that if some seats are available in any college(having large no. of seats in commerce like zakir Husain Delhi college ) , u can get that seat !

Then ...what are u waiting for ..take ur chance

does delhi university offers non going in ba programme

subhanshus s 27th May, 2018

Hey there,

BA program is a 3 year degree program of Delhi University(D.U.) It is helpful for a student in ways like:

1. You can get admission easily,as the cut off of BA prog. is less comparatively other courses.

2. In this program you need to select two discipline (say pol science, eco, maths,Sanskrit, office management) cut off of Sanskrit as a discipline subject is less than other.

3. It comprises of four subjects two discipline and two language.

4.Its not bad,if you ever had a dream to pursue your grad. from Delhi university

Feel free to ask if you have any more queries.

Thank You
