Hello there,

EWS category is a new addition to the cutoff lists and you can expect a normal 5to 6% decrease in the EWS cutoff  as compared to the general cutoff.
The EWS category cutoff may range from 75%to 95% depending on various course and colleges.

Can I take admission in Delhi University 87per for take admission in bcom.

Vidhi 23rd Jun, 2019
Hey!

The chances for your admission in B.Com. is tough in colleges of University of Delhi. The competition is tough, and the cut offs are soaringly high.
Almost for all the colleges and degrees, the cut offs are always above 90%. For campus colleges (colleges in North and South campuses), the cut off marks are always above 95%.

However, if you're seeking admission under reserved category, then your chances are higher. The cut off marks are lower from SC/ST/OBC and other categories.

I would suggest you to go fill the form and wait for cut-offs. As the University is planning to release only 5 cut offs this time, the minimum percentages for admissions might be a bit lower.

Best wishes!

I have got 88.2% in class 12th with 92.5 in best four subjects . Can I get admission in Delhi university for Bsc(hons) Mathematics ?

nimrat17799_9532496 Student Expert 22nd Jun, 2019
Hello,

As you have mentioned that your aggregate percentage in intermediate was 88.5%.

For getting in admission in DU you need to score about 92%(not including SC/ST).

For any BSc course, you must add maths score. Unlike other courses BSc demands PCM aggregate.

So, looking over this if you fall under sc / st category, you may get admission in DU forBsc(hons)  Mathematics.

I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.

Basic topics which I should prepare for trails of debate in eca category in delhi university ??plzz answer

Nikita Akhuli 21st Jun, 2019
Hi aspirant
For the purpose of debate trials it is highly suggested that you should prepare for the recent ongoing topics
Eg one nation one elections
Triple talaq
Mob lynching

Adultery
Homosexuality
These are just examples since they were hit topics. You should HV a general or vague idea if current scenarios like even the Lok Sabha elections.
The panel will obviously give you topic on spot with 5-10 minutes preparation time. They can give you any topic of their choice. at times some colleges/teachers make chits of some topics and ask students to pick up then it will be completely on your luck.

Hope the best for you.
All the best.

Why to choose delhi university for ug?

snehasinha1718 Student Expert 21st Jun, 2019

Hey Anshul,

There are various advantages of choosing DU for undergraduate education. One of the major advantages of studying at DU is that it charges very levelled fees that students from every background can afford and offers quality education to the students. Delhi University offers the students the time and opportunities to participate in paid internships in order to broaden their industrial experience.

As a DU student, you can also pursue your interests apart from education by enrolling for different societies formed by the colleges of the university to showcase your extra talents including dance, drama, music, photography, arts, culture and poetry etc.

Also, DU provides lucrative placements through the established placement cells at its different colleges.

All in all DU is one of the best universities in India to pursue UG education. With more than 70 colleges affiliated to it, the university offers over 60,000 seats in different programmes. Getting admission in the Delhi University is a matter of pride as it is one of the oldest and most reputed universities in India.
