The cutoff for the top 3 colleges is usually very high. Although you can get a good college in 3rd or 4th cutoff based on your percentage.
Hello dear!!!! Yess there is a reservation for the students belonging to the economically weaker sections category. The reservation is of 10% as of now but these seats are supernumerary and there can be an increase in the seats. There has been a lot of students applying for this category and therefore the government has decided to extend the date too.

Hindusthan university: It is good one for mechanical and electrical engineering. you can get quality education over there. Eco friendly campus. you can get good ambient and exposure to various kinds of people. No drees code so you can dress casually , Good library.Campus placements are not that good if you want to get a job immediatley
Delhi university: This course is truly about passion and love for this language and those who have this can only do justice with this.If you are interested in reading and writing and have a passion of reading novels without making any grammatical mistakes then go for it.It is one of the most opted course in DU.You must be a keen learner of literature and culture if you are going to opt it.
So its up to you choosing the best one depends on your passion for course.

BA english is as better as btech . i tell you why . nowadays there is very much shortage of job . you have heard of many peoples doing small jobes even they are btech student. btech will only be useful if you have done it from indias top colleges like iits or top NITs .so you can get best jobs even in english as well as btech but please follow your passion
