i want admission in bsc life science in DELHI UNIVERSITY and i am having PCB with english and home science .can i opt ENG, home science P&B

Aditi Rai 27th Jun, 2019

Hello aspirant.

For science courses, the cut-off in Delhi University is calculated by Best Of 3 subjects and for life science, only the science subjects are included which means your best of 3 will be calculated by adding the marks of Physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology (from 100) and divided by 3.

And you cannot exclude chemistry from best of 3.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Ive scored 95.6% in 12th (PCB). which BSC course should I opt for in delhi University to get better job opportunities?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 16th May, 2019
hello aspirant,
Delhi university is really good university and it has many talented professors. however physics , maths, chemistry all three are good as for their respect. see after MSC in chemistry you can do job in chemical industry, pharmaceutical.sector and cosmetic manufacturing company. after doing bsc in math you may go for MSC . if you would done courses on data science there is large scope in ecommerce companies. and last for physics you may join nits, iits  as a research fellow or doing job as a teacher in both private and government institute
both the 3 subjects has wide career option in teaching line.

What is the admission procedure in Ambekar university Delhi??? Entrance based or merit plzz suggest

Sk Student Expert 6th Apr, 2019

Hi Untamed,

You have not mentioned in which course you want to get enrolled so i answer this question in general. Under Graduate courses are enrolled on the basis of marks secured in 12th class whereas admission to post graduate is done on the basis of entrance exam followed by interview conducted by the University and admission to MBA is done through entrance exam followed by interview and essay, M.Phil and Ph.d. admission is based on a written test, interview and evaluation of Statement of Purpose (SOP).

Does in delhi university only three subject PCB or PCM percent count my percentage in pcb is 94 and 89 overall can i get admission in DU

Shreya gupta 16th May, 2019
Hi
well the basic eligibility for Delhi university that you must have qualified your 10 + 2 from a recognised board and a minimum aggregate should be 40-60%

Now to macha eligibility with the cutoff you need to calculate best of four percentage

For best of four percentage calculation the method is given below:
1. 1 language course which can be core, elective, functional
2.you must include one relevant subject that is like if you choose to pursue BSc statistics of bsc maths Hons then it is compulsory for you to include mathematics as one of your best of force subjects similarly if you choose to pursue BCom aur BCom Hons it is also compulsory for you to include mathematics in your best of four
3. Two subjects from list A
Forest a you can check the Delhi University web portal where they have mentioned the courses that you can include in your best of four.intraday subject other than those in the list then there will be a deduction of 2.5 from your overall percentage like if you include physical education music in your best for then there will be a deduction of 2.5 from your overall best of four percentage.
