Is integrated courses are available in delhi university. Like b.com llb.

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 18th May, 2019
Hey Priyansh.

No, You cannot get admission in Delhi University for BCOM+ LLB course.

Reason being that Delhi University does not offer any 5 year integrated law course like Bcom LLB or BA LLB. There are 2 types of Law courses in India- 3 year LLB course and 5 year integrated law course. 3 year law courses are for those who have completed their Undergraduation. So after completion of any 3 years of Undergraduate course, you can do LLB which will be for 3 years. Hence It would take 6 years if you start witha separate UG degree. And in 5 year law course are for those who are seeking to puruse law after class 12th. It combines an Undergraduate degree with law, for example- BA LLb, BCOM LLb, BBA LLb etc. It takes 5 years after 12th class.

Delhi University only offers a 3 year LLB course which you cannot pursue unless you have completed any Undergraduation. But there are various other law colleges that provide this course of BCOM LLB.

Hence you have 2 options that you can choose to pursue BCOM at first separately and then apply for Law. Both The course are offered separately by Delhi University. it will take you 6 years to complete both. Or you can go for a 5 year integrated law course from another good college.

BCOM LLB is provided by various good colelegs but Most of the top colleges provide only LLB course. There is not much difference in the scope of BA LLB and BCOM LLB. Some of the colleges providing integrated courses of Law like BA LLB, BBA LLB, BCOm LLB and their respective entrance examinations are-

CLAT- This entrance test is for admission in All National Law Universities which are among the top law schools in the country. Different NLUs provide different course like BCOM LLB, BA LLB, BBA LLB etc.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA- To be eligible to take admission through CLAT you need to pass Class 12th with a minimum aggregate of atleast 45% marks. Hence you seem to be eligible.

AILET- For admission in National Law University Delhi. NLU Delhi is the only NLU that offers admission through a separate entrance test.

SLAT- For admission in Symbiosis Law School, Pune and other campuses.

LSAT- All Private Law colleges in India like Jindal Global Law School, UPES etc

IPU CET- For admission in various colleges under IP University, Delhi

PU BA/BCOM LLb- For admission in Panjab University, Chandigarh and its regional centres.

MHCET- GLC Mumbai, ILS Pune, and other law colleges in Maharashtra.

Christ University

TS LAWCET For admission in law colleges of Tamil Nadu.

Best of luck.

Aditi Rai 27th Jun, 2019

Hello aspirant.

For science courses, the cut-off in Delhi University is calculated by Best Of 3 subjects and for life science, only the science subjects are included which means your best of 3 will be calculated by adding the marks of Physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology (from 100) and divided by 3.

And you cannot exclude chemistry from best of 3.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Hi
The Best four subjects need to be include the following:-
1. One language
2. One subject in which admission is sought- A candidate needs to include the subjects in best of  4, in for the Honors programme in which admission is being sought, otherwise a disadvantage of 2.5% will be applicable to the calculates Best of four Percentage.

Yes, if you have to take admission in DU your 2.5% will be deducted in physical education.

What is the admission procedure in Ambekar university Delhi??? Entrance based or merit plzz suggest

Sk Student Expert 6th Apr, 2019

Hi Untamed,

You have not mentioned in which course you want to get enrolled so i answer this question in general. Under Graduate courses are enrolled on the basis of marks secured in 12th class whereas admission to post graduate is done on the basis of entrance exam followed by interview conducted by the University and admission to MBA is done through entrance exam followed by interview and essay, M.Phil and Ph.d. admission is based on a written test, interview and evaluation of Statement of Purpose (SOP).

Can I add computer science marks in calculation of best four subjects for Delhi University

Shreya gupta 16th May, 2019
Hi
the basic eligibility for Delhi university that you must have qualified your 10 + 2 from recognised board and minimum aggregate should be 60%

For best of four percentage calculation the method is given below:
1. 1 language course which can be core, elective, functional
2.you must include one relevant subject that is like if you choose to pursue BSc statistics of bsc maths Hons then it is compulsory for you to include mathematics as one of your best of force subjects similarly if you choose to pursue BCom aur BCom Hons it is also compulsory for you to include mathematics in your best of four
3. Two subjects from list A
Forest a you can check the Delhi University web portal where they have mentioned the courses that you can include in your best of four.intraday subject other than those in the list then there will be a deduction of 2.5 from your overall percentage like if you include physical education music in your best for then there will be a deduction of 2.5 from your overall best of four percentage.
