Top University Delhi
hello aspirant,
the basic rule is to count best of 4 subject is , you need to add one language subject(english/hindi) and as you are from science back ground you can add any 3 subjects from your course like (mathematics, computer science, biology, statistics, physics, chemistry ...... etc)
hope you have understand.
Hello aspirant,
It is not compulsory to include Mathematics in the best of four calculation for B.Sc. Honours in Chemistry. You only need to have studied and passed Mathematics in Class 12. However, it is compulsory to include Chemistry otherwise you will have a disadvantage of 2.5 % on your best of four.
In delhi university, you have B.sc hons in physics, maths, chemistry, computer science, biology, zoology, botany, electronics, statistics whose cut off is higher. At last you need to score above 85% for general category. for top DU colleges, 95% is what you require.
the b.sc programmes in physical sciences and life sciences have a comparitively lower cut-off. you can even get admission by the last cut off list if you have scored 78 and above. however in top colleges, 90% is a must.
for IPU, a rank under 5000 is safe for getting a decent college of you choice.
Hello sir,
Delhi University will be starting its application process from May 20. You must visit the site www.du.ac.in to fill in the application form first and pay the requisite fee for the form. Keep the scanned documents (like marksheet of class 10, aadhar card, signature, photograph) ready with you.
The cutoffs will be released from June onwards when the application process closes. With 80% marks and seeking admission in commerce courses like B.com (prog) and B.Com (hons), you need to hold on till the later cutoffs for matching the required criteria.
Cheers!!
Greetings!
Hope you're doing great.
Congratulations on being through Jee mains! There are colleges in Delhi University where you can apply through Jee mains merit list and rank. About 25 colleges take part in Engineering admission process and admission are granted purely on the basis of jee merit list. However, admission is monitored by CIC. Candidate has to apply for the same through Delhi University admission portal. Fill the application form, followed by paying the registration fee and then applying for the selected colleges of your choice. Here is the list of colleges that you can apply:
Many of the college mentioned above may have closed BTech admissions. Do confirm the same by visiting the individual website. You don't have to apply for the college separately and hence you'll save a lot of money through this process. The admission process is carried out through the Cluster Innovation Centre(CIC). For more details how to apply for a specific course or is it available or not do follow this Delhi university official link: http://ducic.ac.in/Programs-BTech-IT-Concept
Hope this will help. Do reach out in the comment section below in case you need any further help. All the best for admission round!
