I got 87.5% in my board exam can i get admissions in bcom(honours) in delhi university north campus

Adil Suaib Khan Student Expert 12th May, 2019
Hii paras
No being from the general category itself makes it very difficult for you to get a good college and with 87.5 percentage in class 12th boards makes it all the way impossible. The cutoffs for the general category students is very high for the North campus colleges more than 95 percentage and as high as more than 90 percentage for south campus colleges. You won't get in a college as of now , let the actual cutoffs to be declared by the university of Delhi on their official website.
You can reach out to us for more information regarding admissions procedure, important dates, cutoffs etc.
Hope it helps
Thanks

what is cut-off of Indraprastha Univ. cet btech biotech entrance examination and also bsc science of Delhi University in general category ?

saumyash9_6665013 Student Expert 11th May, 2019

In delhi university, you have B.sc hons in physics, maths, chemistry, computer science, biology, zoology, botany, electronics, statistics whose cut off is higher. At last you need to score above 85% for general category. for top DU colleges, 95% is what you require.

the b.sc programmes in physical sciences and life sciences have a comparitively lower cut-off. you can even get admission by the last cut off list if you have scored 78 and above. however in top colleges, 90% is a must.

for IPU, a rank under 5000 is safe for getting a decent college of you choice.

I hv done 12 from cbsc Punjab with 80% Marks in commerce stream how can I get admissions in Delhi university

Ranjot Singh Student Expert 10th May, 2019

Hello sir,

Delhi University will be starting its application process from May 20. You must visit the site www.du.ac.in to fill in the application form first and pay the requisite fee for the form. Keep the scanned documents (like marksheet of class 10, aadhar card, signature, photograph) ready with you.

The cutoffs will be released from June onwards when the application process closes. With 80% marks and seeking admission in commerce courses like B.com (prog) and B.Com (hons), you need to hold on till the later cutoffs for matching the required criteria.

Cheers!!
